Lenny has to go. Simple as that. He was found out last night, Klimala came back from the lockdown in great shape scored in the first game of the season then in our biggest game yet he is on the bench so Christie and ntcham can play in the same team. Time to go Lennon tactically unaware and to play with no strikers against a bang average team is just him being totally inept at his job. Then he blames the players. He is happy to take the credit but doesn't want to shoulder the blame. The board needs to rectify this and soon before we are pumped out the EL too. Well to be fair I think we will be if Lennon keeps his job.

I think Eddie Howe would be a good appointment for us. That's who I would be looking at if the board stood up to be counted and did the right thing

Well those clubs have modern, sophisticated and progressive managers and coaching setups with an intense work ethic.

We’re coached like neanderthals, with a manager who plays * football, is tactically illiterate and allows our players to eat junk food and have undeserved days off. This kind of * was being binned by top clubs a quarter of a century ago.

I’m not sure if it’s an indictment on just Celtic or Scottish football culture as a whole, but it really is summed up by a Luddite attitude to the game that sees our national team wallowing in * for years now.

There’s this myth propagated by the Scottish media and Celtic fans that our clubs and Scottish football can stand on our own two feet, we can compete and that Scottish football is something to be proud of, usually by parochial twats like Stewart Cosgrove and Tom English.

Scottish football culture is regressive. And Celtic, which prided itself on being different from the rest, is just a cheerleader for Stone Age methods and beliefs. We should be setting an example, a club achieving beyond its means, playing attacking football, having exceptionally fit players for a start (and that goes for legends like Broony too whose fitness was appalling before Rodgers told him to wisen up), and being a conveyor belt of top youth products with sophisticated and progressive coaches at the helm.

Instead, just like the rest of Scottish football, we’re a laughing stock. And the blame lies squarely with Lennon and his neanderthal methods and Lawwell who has absolutely no vision or aspiration for this club (evidenced by actually hiring Lennon).

A * joke, and number ten won’t solve these harsh truths either. Time to wisen the * up.

If you look at Ajax they bring through top talents on a regular basis because they hmyoung guys have a desire to be the best they can be whereas our youth only want to be in the first team and they think they have made it when they achieve this. Look at eddy frimpong and other foreign youths we bring in they are all 3,4,5 years ahead of our youths with technical ability and where they want to be. They all want to be top class footballers Tierney is probably the only Scottish player from celtic who has came through the ranks and not settled for being in the first team but wanted to reach the very top. We need more of our own academy players to have the same attitude. Things need to change at our grass roots level because if it doesn't we will be in the same situation for the next 10,15,20 years celtic need a total revamp of our youth policy and it has to start now before it gets worse.

The only way Lennon gets sacked is if we lose the league to the huns. Let that sink in.

Seems we are in turmoil, attempted to shift the blame onto the players when last nights diabolical result lies at the feet of Neil Lennon.

Never should have been given the job in the first place, papped by mediocre sides constantly when trying for the champions league, he is a diehard fan there is no doubt but so am i and the managers job should go to the best candidate on merit not how much he loves the club.

lennon was the obvious option when we were left in the * by rodgers he came in and seen us over the line and then won the league last year

but hes isnt good enough tactically by a million miles, hes just not good enough to be our manager if we want to improve

everything was in our favour for a champions league qualifier last night 1 leg, at home, no away goals, better players and fitter and our manager doesnt play a striker WTAF :43:

is that the first time weve never played a striker in a game ?

i dont think well sack him cause its 10 in a row season, but in normal circumstances we should

When asked the question "has there been specific players ask to leave?" He didn't even pause before giving and definitive "Yes."

His entire attitude surrounding the squad changed after the game last night.

Something is definitely not right behind the scenes here.

he's lost the plot after those post match comments, i dunno how any they players would want to play for him now, to try and move all the blame onto them when it was his * tactics last night, the man is cracking.

Im also * sick of 10n a row.. nothing can change or be done till we get it it seems. Club has seriously stalled in the last few seasons but it's ok 10 in a row? If this is the height of our ambition we are *

The problem with Lennon is not only that he didn't learn from the Cluj and Copenhagen games but also that he didn't react when it was obvious for everyone that the way we played yesterday didn't work. A manager needs to be able to do changes while the game is on. He has multiple time lacked that skill. He had more than enough chances to show he improved his management skills. If a player doesn't improve he will get called out why shouldn't we messure the same way with our coaching stuff? At a club like ours you can't be a lazy manager or things like last night happen. It's not that he made mistakes that wants me him to move on but his lack of learning from them. Will always be a Celtic legend and I like him but he's just doesn't possesses the managment skills needed if we want to improve.

Just read on Twitter that players having been hiring their own coaches as the training isn’t up to standard? It wouldn’t be surprising.
