Don’t understand why some have to latch onto a narrative and won’t allow themselves just to go with the flow of what’s actually happening on the park.

That was a well organised, dynamic and potent away performance in Europe. They don’t come along very often, for any Celtic manager.

He deserves credit as do his staff and the players.

Being lennon and celtic manager he cant win ,dammed if u do damned if u dont scenario,?he takes any key players off early in that game we lose a goal straight away and panic, everyone jumps on that situation , lennon is going fine atm and ibrox is the big test for him, they have lapped up his appointment like the scottish cup tie a while back when they drew us ,my only concern is the men at the top have given him a half empty toolbox and he deserved to go in to this game with it packed as to silence these cnuts ,my fear is being 2 down by half time ,if we are resolute and defend properly as leiga did for most of the game tonight we should have the attacking players to win this game.

It was an excellent result, don't think anyone would dispute that. He needs to manage players better though. Edouard should have been straight off the minute he showed signs of being uncomfortable.

I would have took Forrest off for Morgan as well but I'm guessing Johnston will be starting on Sunday.

Massive few days coming up for him on that transfer front. Most of us can see where we need to strengthen, hopefully he can as well.

Take nothing away from the result and performances over the two legs, we got the job done and the disappointment of Cluj didn't have too much of a negative impact on our attitude.

There is a 'but' though, and that's that I thought AIK were really poor all round. We may have made them look that way but they rarely threatened and only scored from the spot. Tougher tests ahead, starting Sunday then the groups.. Hopefully keep this momentum going!

Lennon now being blamed for not taking Ajer off after 50 mins....he went off injured half way through the first half FFS.

NL: “it’s a great draw. A couple of glamour games and the chance for some retribution against Cluj.”

NL: “Lazio is a great draw. A trip to Rome is something everyone will look forward to. I think we can make an impact in the group.”

NL: “Quality of performance last night was excellent. A lot to be proud about. The front 4 were brilliant. Broony looked back to his best too.”

NL: “We’re scoring goals at a very fast rate so there’s a lot to be happy about.”

NL: “Sunday will be high octane, noisy, colourful, difficult to predict. I want us to put in a strong performance.”

NL: “To say it’s a marker or a defining moment in the season....? I’m not buying that.”

NL: “We scores from a set play last night which delighted me. We’ve got 9 goals in last 3 games which is good form by any standard

NL: “The players have dealt with pressure situations very well. The mentality has been excellent. They’re well experienced for what lies ahead.

NL: “Our injuries have been clearing up pretty well. We’ll have to see about Kris (Ajer) for the weekend but he’s confident about it.

NL: “Jozo is fit. He’s been rested. I imagine Bauer will be in the squad.”

Lennon is spot on, Sunday won't define the season. Unlike 2-leg qualifiers, it decides on 3 points in a sea of so many games.

Sounds a bit more confident about Ajer today than he seemed last night.

It might not define a season but it certainly is a marker. He can’t play down the enormity of the game. Going 3 points ahead this early is a big boost.

Sunday will go some way to defining this season, he’s just taking the pressure off.

Not only are we closer than we’ve ever been to Sevco on the park, the wait for another game will feel like a kick in the baws if we get beat and the media will twist the knife for a fortnight.

Head down the pub and talk about a Celtic legend like that and you'll be taking your teeth home in a glass.

Some absolute roasters claiming to be Celtic fans these days.
