So thats your two you think should be protected, so if Jullien gets injured you’d be leaving us with no natural CB. At somepoint, you just need to trust a footballer to complete 90 minutes of football.

He’s rightly been criticised for his use of subs tonight, despite the good win.

Just Morgan, which was an inconsequential goal.

Well he actually decided not to wrap any of our star/key players in cotton wool because his substitutions were so late in the game. The only tactical sub he made was Johnston off for Morgan. Regardless of whether you think it would make sense for Christie to have been subbed, or Jullien, the point is he left all of our key players on the pitch when he could and should have been a bit smarter about it.

Yes you could trust a footballer to complete 90 mins of football but when you've already lost your best defender, and you're sitting comfortably in the lead...it might not be a bad idea to rest one or two of your best players with such a huge game this weekend. Debating otherwise is * madness.

The tie was over and the tempo had dropped to such a low level that the players should have been able to see their own way through the 90 mins without stressing their bodies. They have a professional obligation too and shouldn't be nannied 'just in case'. We have goals in us from MANY sources - what we don't have is all that many defensive options. IMO, if we were looking to make tactical subs with an eye on Sunday, then it should have been defensive one's - not Edouard!

Injuries caused by opponents are a different matter altogether and can come in minutes 1 to 90, so pretty much a moot point here.

But hey... folks like to moan!

Think at this stage and the way we’ve been lately seeing the game out we’re actually playing in is sensible.

100% agree with your first point Sean. ( And did before and after the Cluj game in terms of the criticism Lenny was quite rightly given)

In terms of the second point. It is an absolute disgrace. Criticise the formation, substitutions etc but to get personal in the way many on here do is disgusting.

When Griff took time away from the game there was still wee wanks on here wanting to get in with the first story etc.

Maybe I am going to cross a line here but there are folk on here that post in the "mental issue/depression threads" on here and yet are still happy to post * and innuendo about Lenny on here.

These * should take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror IMO.

Great play from Christie to make the goal.

Edouard, who by Lennon's own admission, started on the bench at the weekend due to fatigue? Edouard who is our main man up top and our best player. He's the guy who should be rested.

Your first point is nonsense. "They have a professional obligation" what? So if a player gets two footed it's their own fault?

Very capable back ups? Bayo has made one competitive start and Griffiths is short of match fitness and worryingly seems to have fell behind Bayo in the pecking order.
