And yet you felt the need to make up something and claim I had said that when I said no such thing at all.
I'll engage with anyone who is civil however wee scrots that make up * will get what they deserve. Seeing as you don't like that I suggest you don't do it again.

His departure has brought me a good feeling regarding Celtic that I have not felt for nearly a year

Now he's gone..is it wrong to have mixed feelings ..
There's a part of me feels quite sad how it's ended... especially when you see some of the players thanking him...

I disagree, and many more who have seen his entire Celtic career from start to finish will disagree as well.

The truth of the matter is he was a very good player and a good captain in a good MON team , did the break up attacks, tackles interceptions and read the game well, always liked his 100% attitude as a player but was never a Celtic legend to me anyway even before he became a manager

Hopefully a full review of the type of players we are bringing in takes places. We have bought a bunch of fairies who lack character.

we sold our future captain and lost the added leadership he brought to the team. Browns influence has diminished, and outwith, there isnt a leader amoungst them. Mcgregor is never a captain.

See I interpret the first part as a swipe at us as a club. It’s not his place to call out our misgivings or Lennon’s inadequacy. He has to remember he has done nothing of note at Ibrox until this season and was on the verge of the sack himself last season. It reads as the way fans would talk and not befitting of a professional manager. Lennon would not have chosen those words had Gerrard been disposed off last season after their spectacular collapse after Dubai. Also the bit about taking no pleasure on a personal level. So does he mean on a football opposition level he does take pleasure. Maybe not much wrong in some eyes but I see it as disrespectful and cheap. Look at the difference between his statement and Yogi’s.

A lot didnt go in his favour this season, but he didnt help himself either.

I think one of his biggest downfalls was not adding more natural width to the team, as we have become so predictable and one dimensional.
Mo and Christie just dont want to run down the outside and play crosses and we have been relying on the full backs ro provide the width.
Up top, we dont bully teams, in midfield we lack dig and at the back we are disorganised.

HAWL! I did not deserve that.

I am far more dashing than those two. I do have that flag somewhere though.

Think you’re reading far too much into it. If he said it came as a shock we’d all think he was taking the *.

Not sure what else he’s supposed to say.

“Football management is a tricky game and as a fellow manager it’s never nice to see another being sacked. Especially after what Neil has achieved as a player and a manager at the club”

cliche but respectful but the huns have a history of disrespect. Tenners for fivers, singing the Sash or whatever it was in the directors box at Hampden.

Which no doubt some would have seen as a sly dig as well.

    His comments were fine.

It would have been less sly than what he said.

This season was a disaster but does that wipe out all the success and trophies that he has accumulated over 20 years at Celtic. If you are completely irrational then maybe, but for the right thinking among us he will always be a Celtic Great. For those that say he is not welcome back at Celtic Park may I politely suggest you take a good * to yourself.

You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
