Maybe I should pay more attention to him during games.. mistakes always stand out more than good play. However I stand by what I said - Brown was very poor tonight. I'll leave it at that as it's a Lennon thread.

That was * amazing when he burst upfield and brought the ball down, no one anywhere near him and he held it up, waited and laid it off.

Can I also say, the signing of Mulgrew was an absolute masterstroke. Same with the majority of his signings though to be fair.

How can people see the game so different....

I for one was not happy brown was starting before kayal as I'm not a big fan of his, but tonight Brown drove us through that game. He was excellent, one of his best performances and considering the referee was a complete * Brown done well to keep control and focus when nothing was going for us, and IMO I think it spurred him on. Huge performance from him :50:

I wish he'd stop wearing tracksuits in general. He's a little past it.

I just want to tell how proud I am of Lenny now.

Hes really came of age I think lately. With experience hes learned from his mistakes, and building the foundations of a great team.

Hes got them playing for the Jersey and for one another.

I hope hes here for years.:shamrock::shamrock::celt_2:

Lennon became a proper manager tonight for me. Correct line-up almost and correct subs at the right time. Well done to the gaffer:50:

Very impressed with how he set the team up, hopefully he gets us to the group stages.

    I'm not picky.
This can't be right. I mean, I thought it was said that the WHOLE of Scottish football was going to be plunged into the depths of * and be totally ruined because Hun FC aren't around anymore. That we couldn't survive without "ra peepil". That armageddon was going to be upon us

    HA :RedFinger

Guaranteed European football until at least Christmas now. Keep it going, Lennon, and let's shove those words further down all the doom & gloomists throats when we get to the Champions League group stages :50:

I think with him making the subs at the right time and the way he sets the team up now for different matches just proves that he HAS been learning from the mistakes he's made last couple of seasons.

Only thing is are we still playing zonal defence at set pieces though? Just seems that we were under pressure a couple of times at corners and thought I'd heard something about zonal. If so, I'm still not convinced on the zonal marking for set pieces BUT I can change my mind if we can improve on it and make it work :50:
