As much as I hate to say this, as the MSM and the majority of Scotland would love this to happen, but he is just good enough for us. I have no doubt a manager with a little more experience could get a little more out of our players.

Forget about the Champions League and the League title for a minute and think about the amount of dross performances there have been this season. I've said it before, If we had competition for the title then people would be calling for Lennon's head.

I want to stick with him, but we must improve.

Wanting the best for the team you support isn't glory hunting.

Would like to see Lenny stay for at least 5 years, needs time to really make his mark, best judged after that, but he will need to cut the dross\shirkers from the squad, has to be ruthless if we are to improve domestically and in Europe:icon_mrgreen:

Yup, he is still learning! Nothing worse than sacking a manager who isn't completely hopeless.

If he's staying, the least thing Lawell should do is to tell the guy to shut the f up on twitter. And behave in media.

The lack of competition is the reason we were *, if there was any credible competition, we would blow THEM out the water.

PS. There is absolutely no chance Lenny will go to Everton

Who cares about Twitter * sake?

It's getting a performance out of his players that should be the main concern.

I don't buy the papers here so not sure if it's been in them, only heard it from people that follow him on Twitter. I just see don't think it's that big a deal, there is much more pressing matters that need to be addressed before this.

If we blow them out the water then that isn't really competition is it.

It is a big deal when he gets into little arguments with certain people for no reason, he doesn't have to rise to it. He acts like a teenager.

He is good at replying to fans though, I asked him about Miku the other day and he got back and told me he was injured. He just needs to ignore the wee fannys!

No, it's annoying me that people are using the Champions League run to excuse a pretty mediocre season.

I blame those * computer games tbh. We live in a generation where some acne ridden 16 year old thinks that because he led Celtic to the CL 4 years in a row that we can do it in real life.:87:

No concept of reality at all. Just cos some of our players dont perform at 100% every time they turn up for work, they say they're not trying.

Cos we lose the odd game to an opponent who always up their games against us, we're not good enough. Even though we won the league.

They've changed their tunes from how we are bottlers:rolleyes: to now wanting perfection.

It seems that no matter what he does, Lenny just cant win with some folk. The biggest issue used to be that he was hated by his opponents (which tells you he must be doing something right) to now being looked down upon from our own fans.

One of us, who literally was risking his safety to try and bring us success now being hounded (going by on here with some) by those that claim to have Celtic at heart. Sad state of affairs its become.

If we had competition for the league then we wouldn’t have put in as many * performances. The players aren’t motivated in the league, how can they be when they know it’s already won?

The odd game? We have dropped points in 14 games this season.

    Yes, you did.

Ignore winning the league and making a Scottish record for European points... Lets focus on losing to St Mirren because that is much * more important than beating Barcelona or achieving the clubs first ever Champions League away win.

It's bollocks. Focus on the season as a whole.

Mediocre season ffs. Possibility of a double, Champions Leagues last 16... Mediocre.

I take it you missed the 90's?
