Disagree with Lenny here. We played Shocking.

 

I dont think that they were great, but they played a whole match, basically, with 1 man less than the opposition. That is a * of a task and when you think of the heat they played in as well! The team done well in that respect.

I dont think the whole team deserves criticism for last night. Far from it. I think that we done well, especially in the 2nd half when we actually put a bit of pressure on them.

He has to come out and give them a bit of praise to motivate them. He was right to have a go on Saturday but right, imo, to not go overboard and criticise them last night.

Is that not what our AGMs are for? I think we should gave a fan rep on the board? dunno do we have that? we do have shareholders/fans though

 

We worked hard with ten men maybe but brilliant is far too much praise for a side that showed nothing over two legs against an average European side. I think Lenny has made those comments to show the players that he backs them after criticising them on Sunday, because he has too.

I'm surprised he wasn't asked what the Commons substitution was meant to achieve with minutes left on the clock, that really sickened me as we should have done this the minute Mulgrew scored.

 

While it's true what you say about being down to 10 men, I feel Lenny has been given too many breaks in his Celtic managerial career, purely because he is Neil Lennon and one of us. But he needs to deliver the goods now. Good will alone just won't cut it. it's league or else in my eyes now.

 

Interesting post amazing the number of different opinions. IMO if Lennon had came out and told the truth he could have lost the dressing room completely after slating them on Sunday (allegedly). I think everyone knows the teams is playing * just now and I dont believe giving them a doing in public all the time is right either.

Seems like he was being careful of what he said although I agree he may have went overboard.

He's *? What about us the fans? We are the ones really getting * over. If Rangers were in our situation financially, they would be wiping the floor clean with us. Actually, have been doing that for the last three years! And Lenny has not offered much hope to us that it will change.

 

if 85% of the fans, done what they should have done, and booed big Dan, after the st johnstone game, he would not have been playing, that is the whole point of booing but seeing Lennon is no listing, and there are about 65 % of the fans on here saying before the game oh * big Dan bomb scare playing, my gripe is also with BROWN playing making it down to 9 men playing. again Lennon turns a blind eye to this, but says
BROWN PLAYS WELL.

 

nice too see another leicester bhoy on here.....lenny,s not to blame for the standard , but is to blame for team selection...maj was terrible at st.jonstone...he has,nt brought a striker or a decent defender ..wont give rassmusen a chance ...gives sammy a new contract....its not looking great ...put out same stage last year only this year its lennys squad .. id love lenny to turn it round but fear he,s becoming a yes man...
