Think Majstorovic is too big a character in the dressing room for Lenny to rip into.

Lennon got the best out of some players (MWilson, LNaylor etc) but now it's the players letting him down.

FFS what was going through his head when making that tackle?

It doesn't seem like that long ago when we were beating Milan, Juventus and Man Utd. Now we are getting gubbed by Sion. It reminds me of a line from Still Game "From Mastermind tae yer scants"

ok, so we had a man sent off in the first minute or two. Playing with a man down away from home isnt easy. add into that the heat as well. but to say the players were brilliant. I dont know about that. Brown dissapeared, Hooper was continually offside. Ki gave the ball away on numerous occasions, nearly resulting in goals and gifting the last goal. Sammy was innefective although he wasnt the worst. Kayal was not fit. Maj.........* joke.
But the point is.........how did NL not see this? why was Ki still on the park to even gift that last goal? why put a sub on at 87 minutes? ffs. your team are struggling with 10 men for 87 minutes and you dont use all your subs. Neil has to take some responsibility.

You are not backing players by telling them they played well. Players mostly know how they played and i think no player thinks he played well last night.
So it is just a silly interview with the vision of the manager........silly vision i think.

Does he want to back up his players, than he is starting next match with the same 11. Don't think he is doing so. Surely there will be players send to the bench or even tribune, because that is the way Lenny is working. It is also the reason why we don't see any joy on the field. There is no teamspirit at all and mostly that is what you need to get results.
Going to be a difficult season for him...

Well said this individual, people need to think through the circumstances before drawing conclusions.

No we don't. The first reaction ( knee * if you will ) is generally the right action, because it is the gut feeling ( truth).

This thinking it over * only only allows flowery excuses and kop outs to gloss over the truth.

I don't want an inept apprentice for a manager like Lennon, who has had us pumped out of Europe twice in a row at the first point of asking, * in the league by Rangers last year, and already trailing to Rangers this year in the league.
I also don't want a resentful, spiteful manager like Lennon who harbors grudges and vendettas against certain Celtic players, and has his own little coterie of blue eyed boys in the team, who continually play in the team, no matter how gash we all know they are.

Just saw the goals as I missed the game last night but to state publicly that the team were magnificent is hard to take but I probably agree with Bobby he has already given them a doing once in the last week, twice and you are kicking them when they are on the ground. I'm sure it has been said but there will be enough people outside of Celtic queuing up to criticise the team.

We need to back the team but put pressure on the board to get a couple of signings in to bolster the team with winners as once again they have shown to be too nervous on the big occasions.

I had this in another thread, but seems better here with everyone defending Lennon.

It's not ONE bad result. It's not an over-reaction to ONE bad result. It's many, many bad results. Each one always coming in a big, important game.

Utrech, Fail. Last OF game, Fail. Rangers League Cup, Fail. Inverness, Fail. St.Johnstone, Fail. Sion both legs, Fail.

Every game that means something to us, our players don't show up. Who do we start to blame? At what stage do all these massively disappointing games become important enough for people to start asking hard questions and wanting results?

We hired a novice to manage a club with ENORMOUS history and support. We have not signed enough genuine quality.

When can we start pointing fingers and who can we point them at?

It's turning into a bad joke I don't get. We deserve much better for the millions of shirts we sell and the thousands of tickets we buy.

Do I want Lennon to be sacked? No. Do I want something done and done immediately? Abso-*-lutely.

He's equally as immobile as Dan and not as dominant (perhaps the wrong word) in the air.

Sad that we're looking to players such as O'Dea as the answer to our current problems. Insane actually.

Now I`ve got over the shock of our last two games I`m coming to the opinion that Celtic and Rangers DO have better players than eg Sion and Maribor and this alone should make the game a formality - However I feel the root of our problems are simple - poor management and tactics, for example playing players out of their natural positions and experimenting with formations which are simply not natural to us. To be honest I`d feel less hurt if we played a more open attacking game and got beat, at least against other Scottish teams and lesser European teams. But what the heck do I know ?

I don't know if there is any truth in it but there there is rumours of a fight between Lennon and Commons at training the other day and its caused a split in the dressing room.

Thats' because Commons is the one who's been at Lenny's door. He's been playing pish and has been pleading with Lennon to stay in the side. He failed again and was dropped.

Must point out I'm guessing all that :50:
