    Agree 100%

Perhaps it is the recessionary environment - when extreme football factions seem to grow in popularity - but it does strike me that the extreme element of our fans are starting to look and sound more and more like their nastier counterparts at Rangers. Im sure both sides hate to hear how similar they are but while the Rangers attention seekers may be a lot worse, they do look a bit similar and they didnt used to.

How? It is the sort of thing that one of them would come out with, not the * Celtic manager.

No wonder he's * off. The team put in a great performance last night but people are only focusing on this stupid half assed banner.

The man was gutted and disgusted what did you expect from him. I know that we're not all football managers but remember they're human first!

What in Gods name are you talking about?

Extreme element, recessionary environment, factions, attention seekers, similar to huns?

Are you trying to get people banned with that sort of thing, that is just flat out trolling.

    Get a grip mate.

He is manager of Celtic football club - he then had a dig at the Celtic fans yet I've to just accept it?

Feels like a complete and utter slap in the face considering the support he received last season.

I agree with him to an extent. The banner was just ridiculously daft.

No.. this is a a typical misrepresentation of what is being said be the Club and NL in these forums. he is not having a go at the thousands of fans who travel to see Celtic and you know it, he is having a go at a handful of people who embarrassed the club with that stupid banner and the flares incident and quite rightly so.. if you want to act like a victim and misconstrue what is being said then you are only going to divide fans. Soon it will be 'Neil Lennon hates celtic fans' At the end of the day you can travel to the moon to see Celtic for all I care, if all you do is embarrass the club and drag there name through the mud then thats the kind of fan we can do without. Thats not to say we cant protest in a slightly better way.. could it not have been worded slightly more elegantly.. I seen it from the TV and so did the rest of the footballing world and it is was just cringeworthy.

he's only voicing an opinion, which as it turns out, is the same opinion as most of the celtic support.

Im not trolling. Football related violence and general misbehaving increases during recessionary periods. There are more angry people venting. And I would suggest people who partake in all this "* the SFA/UEFA/the queen/the board/the orange *...and now Lennon" are just raging. It isnt support so much as venting.

When I see a celtic idiot and I see a rangers idiot, I dont really favour one over the other. I just see an idiot. We are just lucky that our club hasnt been polluted by them yet in the same way Rangers have been

:50: My point summed up perfectly.

The sly dig about the spelling is probably there to imply that idiots did this, and idiots they were for putting up a banner that was going to do sweet * all.

He didn't have a dig at the Celtic fans per se ........rather the ones responsible for the banner......99.9% are good fans he said. Someone else obviously thought they were in the wrong when they've been named and banned for life

The banner read '* UEFA'. How is that not harmful? 'No to the fine' or 'Our right to speak' then fine...but no, '* Uefa'. Well done, that's how to get your point across.
