Anyone got any idea what is the best way forward for doing a PCR test to get in to Hungary for ferencvaros game?
How do I go about getting a PCR test?
Due to fly out on the Wednesday morning. If a test needs to be valid a minimum 72 hours before travel. If I do a test on the Monday morning and send it back that day the lab won’t get it back until the Tuesday so I might not get the results back in time before I fly on the Wednesday morning.
There are no in-store tests where I live so it looks like it’s going to be a bit of a nightmare so might have to travel somewhere to get one done on the Sunday.
    Appreciate any help.

My local chemist does them guaranteed within 6 hours. Think its £80 though. Edinburgh Airport are £60 I'm sure.

Any idea how long Edinburgh airport takes to get results back? I’m in the far north of Scotland so trying to figure out what is best.

My parents went the day before the flight. They was staying at a hotel airport anyway so made a day out of it.

Was really up for going to Budapest but the whole thing looks like an absolute ball ache, especially cause we’re not getting tickets. Don’t think it will even be possible to get ones for the home end either cause they won’t accept the NHS vaccine.

Madness cause I’m nearly sure I watched a ram packed stadium in Budapest with no need for any of that stuff during the Euros

Yeah 100% agree, I think Budapest was one of only maybe a couple with full capacity during the euros so does seem Ridiculous they are being strict now.
Managed to get a test booked at a boots In-store for the Monday before the game.

Most of the airports give you the results within 30 minutes

Left foot forward, then give it a sec and place your right foot forward. Then repeat.

Edinburgh airport website says they hope to get the results back to you by 10pm the following day for an £80 PCR test.

I was under the impression that all international airports had tests with a few hours turnaround?

If so... Go to the airport a few hours early... Do the test... Get juiced, get the results... Burger king on the way to the gate... Sleep on the plane.... Ready to rock on arrival
