    I can't see there being any other explanation for it at this point, he's obviously not been playing on merit, as far as we were concerned our CB business was done in the summer and we had to scramble last minute to get someone because of all the injuries, we didn't have anyone else lined up and weren't in a strong bargaining position.

    Don't know why anyone's wound themselves up about positive comments Rodger's has made, he's never going to come out and call a loan player a bag of * wage thief, especially not one from his old team.

    Glad he didn't get on tonight, just never quick enough to be near us.

    Scales probably shites himself at playing with him also, knowing he himself is not the quickest but that he's got to babysit the clown and try and bail him out if someone gets running at him.

    Nah no chance, tbf to rodgers this time around if a player has a shocker he doesn’t keep his place. Seems like he gives them at least 2/3 6/10 performances too before dropping them to the bench

    Looked a good signing at the time but injuries , prob lack of fitness and maybe being taken by surprise at the pace of the game here have all impacted on him. Genuinely think he's a decent player but doesn't look any better than what we have. Nobody saw Scales coming on and cementing his place either. Imagine he will return to Liverpool in January.

    I’d be shocked to find out anycunt rates him enough to sign him anaw tbf, regardless of the team.


    Up there in the echelons of Du Wei, Josh Thomson (I liked him but *) and Raphael Schiedt. Loan alone saves him from ranking higher neck and neck with Du Wei:56:
