I was just looking at some sites and I noticed a thing on the Evening Times website about Naka being offered 2 million a year to stay.
Celtic Link To 2m Shunsuke Nakamura Offer (from Evening Times)
I personally think the club should thank him and move on to new and different players but what does everyone else think?

If he's willing to stay then we should keep him. He's our best player, and £2million a year is only £38k a week, which isnt too bad. We are getting rid of high earners this summer like Bobo so there is a little extra cash to play with.
-
It would be great for the club to keep him, as he's the most talented & creative ball player we have.
But he has his life to live: if he wants to go back to Japan, then * bless him.
One thing's for sure - our chances of landing a replacement of his calibre are next to zero. -
celtic should make the choice for him and sell him he can do no more time for a change.

i think he has had his day and is fed up with big huns and mini huns kicking lumps out of him
and there is no way he is worth tht sort of money on the pitch anymore. if he is kept and is paid those wages it tells you he is worth more to the club in revenue from Japan and the asian "market" -
He remains our most creative player by a distance, and we'd find it extremely hard to get anyone of his calibre to come to the SPL - even for 3 million a year. -
It will be up to Bilic if he wants to keep him surely?
-
If he stays there could be trouble.
-
That would be better spent on 2 or 3 decent players at the 12k - 15k mark. -

our best player. course we should try to keep him another season

This season he has been poor ..
Hiding from the game alot and he just hasn't got any pace anymore ..
Get as much as we can for him and Thanks for everything Naka -
some of this will be due to the large amounts celtic make from him in Japan etc
-
To the people saying... "get what we can for him"
Hasnt his contract with celtic ended? therefor he can go to whoever he wants, for nothing? -

it all depends on the new manager, who he is and what style of football he wants to play .
-
If the board are willing to pay him more money to stay it must be because he is worth more than that in revenue from Japan.
-
He should definitely stay. Money shouldn't be a problem, as we would well save money by keeping him other than spending on not so reliable replacement.
