Nonsense. Robertson, Armstrong, Gauld, GMS, Russell and Ciftci are all very good players. It's * mad the amount of talent United have had kicking about over the past few years.

Only way we will get back to that is if we join the EPL or qualify for CL every year and make the Last 16 now and again for next 10 seasons.

 

They are good players, no doubt. But we are definitely not the team we were maybe 11-12 years ago. I still can't believe we had so much talent back then.

 

Both of which look rather unlikely in our current situation, given that we have only qualified for the last 16 three times since the competition was rebranded.

Thats a team full of players we've lost in the last 5 years, and you can add Denayer and VVD to that list after this summer. Even then he has left out Kelvin Wilson, Kayal, Skippy, Boruc etc

 

I think we will do it under Ronny as long as he is here, but you never know what will happen in a few seasons, CL football that is. EPL is never going to be a reality for several reasons.

 

Anyone else slightly worried about PVH knowing Celtic have put all their eggs in one basket and desperate to Ciftci (because of time constraints for CL Qualifiers) and holding us over a barrel to get more than we'd normally offer him?
