    I love the * :56:

Can't say that's a trait I've ever noticed in him, I've always thought the opposite, he gets annoyed, tries to hard and eventually goes off on one.

I think the biggest point here is his aggression does need to be channelled. Everything else is good, his all round play and abilities is what we need.

One thing I will say, is Deila is a smart smart * at building his team - he is doing so now from a point of familiarity. GMS, Armstrong and now Ciftci being brought in to our team......just look at how many goals Ciftci scored when playing alongside the dynamic duo at DU, then his lack of goals when they left......big difference!

Those three will be a deadly combination at CP......for sure!

That's true. Is it good enough though? I always thought it flattered to decieve at United, I'm hoping with Johansen, Broony and Bitton around them it takes it up to a new level though.

I'm worried about how we're going to fit Armstrong in, he's not a wide player, I don't think we're him any favours playing him out there in the long term.

    Perfect :56::50:

Aye it will be good enough mate, trust me. I remember how much you were uninspired by GMS coming to Celtic.....he's turning out one of our most entertaining and important players. Armstrong is good enough to be a wide player, and will juat have to adapt as Johansen and Commons are our no.10 players.

I have a feeling he may become a useful guy this season.

They are decent SPFL players though mate, I think Rankin would probably get into any other team bar us.

GMS has made me eat humble pie and I'm * delighted about it, Griffiths did the same! I think ultimately it's Broony that Armstrong is fighting it out with. He'll get his games but we need go be careful we don't curb his development doing so, he'll have it harder than GMS and I think his potential is higher, he'll not want to become a utility man.

It's actually interesting that 7 is the number we see for our Strikers now. I think our best attacker should wear it, whether that be striker or one of the 3 behind. I mean I think Kris Commons would be a fine candidate. Jinky certainly wasn't a Centre wasn't a striker.

My point is they are a few levels below the likes of Stef, Bitton, Broony, Izzy, Lustig. None of them particularly creative either. Solid at best.

I think it's just for the attacking player that inspires us mate. That's why since Larsson left it's went to the likes of Juninho and Ljungberg.

I don't think there's ever any doubt about that mate, hence me saying I hope the likes of Johansen, Broony and Bitton can up their game a level.

Aye, I agree, I think we as fans are always looking for the next Henke. I forgot about Ljungberg, That was a disgrace. Fair enough if he was going to be playing a lot, but you don't give that shirt to a has been who isn't going to play.

I think Lenny agreed there, was to Miku next season and then it dissapeared.

The awesome thing is we haven't even seen the best of Mackay-Steven yet!!! Armstrong is a cracking player - good thing is he has youth and pace on his side the now, so best getting the most of it before he eventually starts to drop deeper as he matures.

I honestly think the trio of them + Ciftci is gonna be a great combination mate....exciting for the season coming......as long as Ciftci isnt banned for long as a result of biting a hun.

Agree mate, I like them. They are all clever players as well, hardworking, skillful and they link up well with others. Johansen is the key in there again.

With Ciftci though I think the person who will gain the most from him being here is Commons. Somebody to drag defenders about and leave spaces for him to exploit? That's a dream for Commons.

Johansen will flourish mate if Ciftci is the main striker, for the simple reason that Ciftci likes to come deep at times to collect the ball - Johansen (as ye know) likes to drive forward into space if he's the no.10 role - although Ciftci will have to learn better when to come deep and when to stay higher.
