    I understand people's biggest concern is his discipline, or lack thereof, but I'm sure he will calm down a bit if he came here.

    Even though he wasn't as bad, look at Griffiths. Not many of us wanted him because he was a * but he's transformed himself into a very hardworking player that is just focused on getting the job done.

    I'd sign him on a pre-contract in January, * it. Dundee United don't have the power to hold anyone over a barrel.

    For £1.5m, I don't see who else we could get that would be better?

    He's got good feet, good first touch, is strong, and can find the goal. Already settled to the Scottish game and should get better service with us than at Dundee united.

    With him, Griffiths and Scepovic, I think we have enough options up front (all 3 are capable of playing the lone striker). Obviously Scepovic needs to prove his worth but the competition for a place in the team should push him on.
