    I really dont see him becoming "top class". That saying, i could be wrong and I hope i am. He hasnt done anything to show he will become "top class".
    I do think he will be a celtic player come next week though. Its just a shame that we are having to go for a striker of his current ability. Not exactly exciting, but neither was griffiths. He hasnt done too bad for himself lately.

    i see it from this view too, there is no doubt he has potential and is exactly what wee need, but his moments of madness could hold him back from becoming the player he wants to be, but on footballing terms im all for it.

    100 percent, and it doesnt help playing in a team with bad form, and on that * pitch week in week out, not making excuses but it doesnt help, and could easily frustrate anybody. but again it does not make it ok to do the things he has done, but he is a winner, and as you said in the right hands who knows.

    He has potential to get better, no doubt. Alot of players do.

    However I don't think the potential is there for him to become a "top class player" in a "top class league".

    Just don't see it.

    Aye, plus once we took Armstrong and GMS he's been there on his own really. You can see why it would be frustrating but the way he does react isn't on.

    I'm all for channeled aggression and every now and again stick the boot in a lá Broony but biting, kicking people in the face and * is something you can't be doing on the pitch.

    He's a winner, if we can help him channel his anger I think it'll be alright. Some of the worlds greatest ever players have done stupid things on football pitches because their anger got the better of them.

    he also weres the no 7 shirt for dundee united, and i think he is the type of guy to come in and want it with us, were as some people might not, i no its only a number, but we are crying out for someone to fill that jersey.
