    He'd score goals for us, domestically at least, he's a strong player and a bit different from what we already have.. could go either way really, he could turn out a right good signing or another dud.. but it's the baggage, seems a bit of a *.

    Ronny has been speaking of adding variety to the squad, which makes me think Ciftci was always the 1st target.

    He's probably a similar level to Griffiths but not an out and out goalscorer. He'll grab a decent amount but he is an extremely different option to both Scepovic and Griffiths.

    Another part which I haven't seen mentioned much is the repurcussions of the alleged biting incident.

    We could be adding a guy into the side and he could be missing for a lengthy period.

    From my point of view mate, it's about what the signing means. If we were signing him plus another striker of proven ability like Vossen, then I woudn't be against it. But I doubt we'll be signing two strikers, so you're looking at Ciftci being the man and that's just not good enough.

    Not at all! I've said several times I'd like him here. Hope we do sign him and I'd put my money on a Griffiths-esque turnaround.

    They should actually put a yes or no poll on transfer threads.

    I know it's not good enough I agree, two new strikers would be great. I'd love Hooper and Ciftci but I honestly think it may only be Ciftci which I'd be happy with.

    ive always been impressed when hes been up against us. Has caused our defence a few problems. He has just had no support. He does have a lack of goal threat to be good enough for Celtic. Squad player at best.
