    Never understood why so many people on this forum wanted to sign him, one goal from
    Open play in 2015, hes a liability and have no idea why some people rate him so highly. Should have been banned several times this year and got away with it. Surely he will get a ban this time.

    No thanks. He's no better than Leigh Griffiths. If we're buying a new striker, which we should be, then we need to aim higher than Ciftci.

    What was meant by that, is we will probley sell an attack minded player ( stokes) so why replace him with somebody with a worse scoring record in the same league.

    And it's not as if stokes has never played upfront :50:

    Yeah me too, with the bolded part being key. Griffiths has been great, but I really don't think he is best suited to be up top alone even though he has made a decent fist of it.
