Looks to me like that's a German asking about a rumor from @totalCeltic that he's flying into Glasgow this weekend. Unfounded internet rumors. I doubt he's going anywhere but Hoffenheim.

Interesting, this is what I would expect the player to do, but those tweets look like speculative rumors. All the twitter accounts that posted it are siting each other it seems.

German Rhein Neckar Zeitung (newspaper) reports his trial ended on Thursday 14th July. He played only the one game and it remains unclear if that is enough to convince Hoffenheim to offer a contract or not, as Hoffenheim already have 7 other strikers on their books. Namely Babel, Ibisevic, Mlapa, Obasi, Tagoe, Schipplock Thomall. Tagoe though is reportedly off to FC Basle.

Describing his trial they mention he is small, 1,74m nimble who plays well, technically very good and is very confident in front of goal.

No mention of where he is now or if the player has to also decide if he wants to play in Germany.

The bit about the Pirates suggests to me that he has not done enough to warrant a deal. I think that refers to the Orlando Pirates and that is another team in South Africa and it appears that Musona will start their season with the club.

I thought he was 6 foot 1, If he is 5 foot 8 then surely we can forget about him. Not what we need at all.

Were you on the sauce when you posted this mate?

We could do with an extra guy up front, someone who will get us goals. Whether he's 5ft 0" or 6ft 6" doesn't matter.

So does that mean he may still come to us?
i really hope so, of all the strikers we've been linked to, he looks the most promising.

sorry mate we really dont that should not be the credentials we found our search on. we need quality simple. height does not come into it football ability is the main attribute. we need cutting edge upfront someone that is exciting that knits it all together. that type of player would be far more beneficial to our team and would flourish with the way we are trying to play and would give the team a focal point at that end of the park.

I don't think we need a target man but just someone who is able to play upfront on his own. This lad looks very complete and if you look at a few of his goals there are some great, powerful headers there.

Larsson wasn't a big lad but I would take him to beat anyone in the air when a cross came in! So size doesn't necessarily dictate how good they are in the air, as timing and the leap you get are more important imo!

aye but when you go to places like fir park we cant play on the ground all the time, we need a target man sammy cant when a header to save himself and has a touch like an elephant and murphy is like a traffic cone. And a target man would come very handy away from home in europe as well

No, I was not mate. We need someone with a bit of physical presence to compliment Hooper. Whether he is 5 foot 0" or 6 foot 6" clearly does matter - we don't want to have 2 players under 5 foot 10" up front. Ok, we can get away with it at home against most teams but against the huns or away to the Inverness's of this world, you need something different up front to make sure the ball sticks and you can retain possession high up the field.
