If you are suggesting he’s a nobody you’re probably not the guy to suggest who we should and shouldn’t be signing.

My knowledge of football outside Scotland is admittedly abysmal. Just a bit of fun cos the name went, I know he is/was a good player who played down south, bit of a coup for Killie just like Clarke (and who wouldnt be there if he wasnt there).

I’ve watched the guy literally * the Huns twice and play the major part in beating us as well.

Basing it purely on what I see with my eyes he’d be an excellent signing. Bordeaux were a bawhair from signing him for a reason.

He's a good detective but I don't think that would help him at Parkhead

    I agree with this.

I've been very impresssed with him in games against us and the huns, he's bossed the midfield any time I've saw him.

Aye he's 31, and it's a position we don't really need cover for at the moment but I wouldn't be against him. Brown will probably play less and more than likely pick and choose his games so if we are in Europe and in all competitions where games come thick and fast it wouldn't be a bad shout to have Mulumbu in there as he is a similar player to Broony.

Your comment about the Huns is bang on, he is exactly the type of player they need as they have a wee faggoty mincy midfield with no physical presence.

I don't think it will happen right enough, he will probably go back down south for big wages. I would prefer McGinnn if I had my choice.

He's easily the best player in the league outwith us - but we said that about Hayes and it wasn't a great move.

Would take it or leave it tbh.

Mulumbu has played in the EPL though and started out at PSG, with caps at under 21 level for France.

I've not seen enough of him to say yes or no, as I don't watch English fitba and missed our last game v Kilmarnock so not sure what he's like. I think next season will be a big one for Kouassi, so unless he's an upgrade than what we have I doubt we'll be in for him.

That's true, and what I've watched of him both in England and now at Killie he is a solid player with immense work rate, good physicality and can play - again though I said this about Hayes.

Like you said, we don't exactly need another CDM right now, if we hadn't bought Kouassi I would be all for it as Mulumbu could definitely do a job here. Just think the 20 year old can become the same type of player given time.

Aye, really fancy Kouassi to kick on next season. Brendan Rodgers isn't afraid to hold back playing someone if he thinks they're not 100% ready, which I think is the case with him. I think he'll get more appearances next season, maybe as a sub to give Brown more rest time if we build up a lead and in early rounds of cup games.

Yeah, will be a big season for him. Tbh I thought we'd have seen more of him since the zenit games. Seems to have lost his place already. Think his energy and tackling in the middle will be crucial in qualifiers.

As you say though, Brendan will know when he's ready.

Bossed the midfield against us, albeit we were * that game all over the pitch. Interested to see how he’ll play at Celtic park against us.

He’s that age though where he’d be good for maybe 1 or 2 seasons for Europe, would rather the lads we’ve got get a chance in Europe.

I think Mulumbu would be one of those players who would probably suit our style in Europe, and could prove incredibly useful in that regard.

I totally understand the point that his age is against him and that we’d maybe be better off bedding in our own, younger players.

Wouldn't be against signing him especially for europe but I would like to see Kouassi get more game time as he's apparently the next successor to Broony.

We shouldnt be looking at SPFL standard players. That why I was against us signing Johnny Hayes. We should be aiming for players that will take us to the next level.....which is not SPFL standard players

Can you realistically see them getting him though?
