Lets hope he can find somewhere to manage with time and patience from all around him to do it his way and succeed.
Celtic is not a place to practice.

    All the best Tony.

It's not a surprise that people are happy to see maybe the worst manager in our history gone is it? A lot of people (including myself) knew he wasn't the right man months ago, and some people were clutching at straws trying to convince themselves otherwise. Of course we didn't want him to fail, but we could see a result like last nights coming.

I was raging last night much the same as most fans must have been, i dont like to see any manager sacked but this had to happen, it wasnt working and i couldnt see this long term plan he had working either, i hope lennon does well in the remaining games to the end of the season although i wouldnt be suprised if he gets sent to the stand in the old firm haha, can't wait to see him on the touchline.

Thanks for trying tony and good luck whereever you go next:bbpd:

Mowbray salary paid until May. No compensation. Effectively on gardening leave until natural break in contract.

Make no mistake about it, this is not a happy day for Celtic FC. I dont feel happy that he's sacked, its not the end of the problems at the club, not by a long shot. Whatever happiness people are feeling is going to be short lived because its going to get worse before this will get better.

There is nothing that happened today that makes me happy. The people with prejudices are happy because they can say "i told you so" and thats sad tbh. Whatever floats their boat i suppose

Thats not too bad for us financially. A big compensation package could have hurt us in the transfer market or a search for someone other than Lenny for next season.

i agree with that,if there is one saving grace, the pendulum power in Scottish football can change quickly ,quicker than else where.but your spot on its not going to get any better soon

A lot of pieces to pick up from this, bit annoyed that he was sacked with us still in contention for silverware this season albeit the cup as we surrendered the league a while ago. So now we embark on the merrygoround of lining up the potentials and shooting them down until the end of season, I don't envy the next manager their job I'll tell you that right now.

No, I don't think he was a useful manager but in my opinion that doesn't warrent personal abuse. He's a good guy just not a good manager, for us anyway. He contributed to a mess (it wasn't all down to him) but he didn't destroy Celtic, we will pick ourselves back up given time, but as you say, it's you opinion and fair enough.

    Hail Hail:shamrock:
