I'm sorry I just don't buy needing to stay for '2 years to rebuild'. Good managers like MON and even Craig Brown for example make an instant impact - where the same players that played for the previous incumbent are rejuvinated and all of a sudden are playing for the team. The measure of a quality manager is turning a team around with the the inherited playing resources not by means of the cheque book.

 

GAZF1888 You keep going on about confidence and stuff like that and maybe your right about last season but think about how many of the players TM has got rid of . . . Maybe he seen that and is trying to sort the problem. As for players this season not playing for the manager? Bollocks! Give me your views on who is not doing it. (Baring in mind we've got alot of new players who are possibly still settling).

 

Fair enough but thats just my personal opinion. The only thing I really can't stand is the lack of emotion on the bench, that does hurt to see MON had the likes of Henrik Larsson and lubo already and added Sutton and co. Craig brown situation is differnt because of the size of club(in my opinion) but still a valid point.

 

TBH, I think it's more about the absurd system Mowbray plays than the confidence of each individual. It's confusing the players, especially the defence.

I don't think we've had any real stand-out players this season, pre or post transfer window, which says it all for me.

 

Maybe not stand out players but the likes of Nguemo + Hinkel have been good. Keane has looked good with Kamara and Rasmussen showing alot of promise. Also Crosas was playing well and Scott Brown looked alright when he came back, although lacking in fitness.

I dont care he gets another season as far as im concerned, show a bit of loyalty and it will be rewarded, im fed up with this culture of getting a guy in, not getting instant success and then throwing all the toys out the pram, hes a good manager, hes actually got nothing to prove hes one the championship which is a better and more competitive league than the spl and you dont do that by accident, simple. weve started looking better at the back and eventiually we will see a settled and better side with time..

 

Big Yawn to you,lets give hime another 3 years to really * us up,he has only had 9 months to undo anything that WGS did,and I wasn't a fan of him but this idea of gelling and giving him time get your heads out of your arses and wake up

 

Im backing Mowbray to get it right sorry its just the way it is, you cant Just go greetin everytime you dont win, it happens sometimes, a little bit of short term pain and I believe we can have a lot of long term gain with Mowbray..

imo tony is the man for the job just listening to what he has to say makes me think we will win something in europe next year maybe not champs league but defo europa as he is some one with great knowledge and he fills me with great optimism for the future
