    Mogga has the most and most relevant experience of all usual candidates -EPL, SPL, top end of championship and marks high at bringing on youth and for style and even has the club connection if that floats your boat. He is also a very articulate front for Celtic. My single big doubt is is he hard headed enough to win rather than entertain. I do not want a super-nice, celtic minded, football idealist who doesnt win against super-cynical Wattie football. We have been there before under Tommy.

    My biggest complaint is that they should have aimed higher and wider and looked at vastly experienced European coaches from countrys where bringing on youth is the main way like Holland and Portugal - fairly small countries with just a few big teams bit like our own. There is no doubt in my mind that the next decade will all be about bringing through young players/finding them young.

    I would be quite happy if mogga got the job. Plays good attacking football and deserves to be given a chance if he gets the job.

    Getting a bit concerned that whoever we appoint is going to split the fans again. Some fans have to realise that we have got to be prudent in this financial climate and can't get ourselves into the same mess that the huns are in.

    West Brom say no contact has been made

    Peter Grant says Mowbray has resigned because it was a condition of Celtics offer.

    If you can just resign then why do other managers not do that.
    I dont think west brom knows that he has resigned because they havent announced anything either.:rolleyes:
