Hard to say if he should go or not!hes had a terrible start and seems a bit clueless!why was Rasmussen not brought on lastnite??but the thing that could save him is that Rangers are so bad!

I agree with that :50: Give the guy time, he's brought in a brand new team.

He might have a vision of how the team will play, but he certainly in my opinion doesn't have the skills to put it into place. He has to go for me.

agreed. who cares if he played for celtic? who cares if he started the huddle? doesnt make him a good manager.

our team under WGS would have gone out and won last night. maybe not by 3 goals, but a win is a win no? under mowbray, the team has gone backwards. all this talk about him inheriting a squad of dead wood is crap, yes there were players that needed to go, but not half the squad. i dont see how people can think we will be any better next season, the only reason they think that is because we have signed robbie keane ON LOAN, and he isnt even that good a player imo.

mcdonald would have scored last night, or big jan. but sadly, mowbray has let both of them go. his fault.
he brought on a CM that has been out for ages and plays him at LB, while leaving the striker that scored all our goals in our last game on the bench. his fault.

    the man is a joke

    Why sign Keane then?

I thought until he signed they were conceeding the league but why bother paying all that money for half a season if we've written ourselves off?

What is missing is the connection between Landry and Keane/Fortune. Scott Brown now has to step up and show everyone why he's the most expensive signing between two Scottish teams.

I think he was thrown on at LB last night just to get him on the pitch. Having two defenders go off injured didn't help either.

    Celtic can't sack Mowbray

The reason Celtic can't sack Mowbray is because if we had to bring in a new Manager now, (which is kind of pointless with only 15 games to go), He himself would need time to settle in & get to know all the players, We have brought in 7 players alone in this transfer window, the spine of Gordon Strachans old team that had went threw every championship before his been ripped out, the majority of first team players now, are only in there first season, to find a leader out of those guys for a new manager would be like finding a needle in a haystack..

The football we are playing under Mowbray is pleasing on the eye, we dominate games from start to finish, we just lack a killer edge, but with Keane, Kamara & Rasmussen coming in the last week there, you would hope our fortunes would now change (putting the Killie game aside), I know our chances of winning the title look pretty bleak, but I'm not giving up until its mathematically impossible.

2007-08' Season, 5th of April 08' Celtic 0-1 Motherwell, Rangers 2 games in hand with a 7 point lead (7 games to go), including 2 Old Firms. Need I have to remind anyone of this? That looked to be disastrous didn't it? But somehow we won the title by 3 points. If you look at it, a draw & a defeat from an SPL side for Rangers & its in our own hands again, because 2 Old Firm wins over them would put us top. With the fire power we have, when that clicks, it don't matter how many goals we leak, aslong as we score more than the other team that should be enough. I think if we get threw this month we are on a good track, Motherwell might be a stumbling block for Rangers next Wednesday, so keep the faith guys, & wouldn't disturb the team anymore than it has been with the sacking of managers. I'm sure in the coming months things will click & Keane will help kick there arses into gear & get us across that finish line, We may not have the same amount of leaders we had in 2008', but you could argue we have a better team, so here is hoping that talent shines threw in the end..

    Hail Hail

that was with the huns having a huge fixture backlog and lets not kid ourselves their uefa cup run did contribute to their downfall.we also had amanager who wanted to win games not just weave pretty patterns on the pitch.and i am sorry but there is no way this mob are winning at ibrox never mind both O F games

You must have felt pretty stupid at the end of the 07-08 season. Just curious, did you celebrate with the rest of us?

To be honest, those who say "the league is over", when it's still mathematically possible to win, don't deserve to celebrate.

Far, far too many people can't see the forest for the trees.

The problem I have is the team clicking part.

Didn't that need to happen err... last night?

If they are going to click they better make it click quick smart coz were running out of time.

This "fixture backlog" myth is a load of mince. Yeah, they had alot of games to play, but lets be realistic...these are grown men who are in peak, physical condition being asked to run about for 90 minutes...NINETY MINUTES! Not only that, they get a 15 minute break in there.

There's far more physically and mentally demanding jobs in the world than being a * footballer having to play 3 games in a week.

The whole fixture backlog was an excuse, nothing more. Back in the early 1900's, Celtic played two games ON THE SAME DAY, winning both, if I'm not mistaken.
