Get him out before the game to let someone actually try and get us to the next round, Dunfermilne will be right up for it they have nothing to lose and everything to gain, not confident at all

Our only hope for this season is for the Board to sack him tomorrow. Never seen such a lack of passion, motivation, and desire from anyone - hiding in the dugout and leaving it to the others to try and rescue things.

It is really sad to see. Too many "pretty" footballers in midfield and no one getting forward to support the strikers. How the * he expects to get results with no leader on the field - not sure what was going tonight with Brown taking the armband from Loovens who was captain, and then being made to play left back - must be the final straw.

Rasmussen scores at the weekend and doesn't get a look in tonight -what the * is Mowbray thinking.

Bye, Bye, Tony, your time is up.

i dont think sacking BTM is the answer lads, simply because if we "sack him" I dont think there will be a manager with the proper experience willing to come in due to us the fans either... not accepting him as a "CELTIC MAN" or us just not giving him the time to come in and get the mess sorted! If we signed say Capello or say SON again would you sack them for fuking up the league in there first season? dont think so!
Once again.. TM is gotta be given time just like any manager, if he loses the league then so be it! al be gutted dont get me wrong just like the rest of the fans.. just as long as next season he gets out whos not trying or good enough and gets in good replacements..
as for tonights game, yes am * gutted in fact there isn't a word for how am feeling! talk about a come down from last night!, and listening to BTM on the radio he sounds the same, but considering very near a full defence has been put together recently in fact the full team is a new team, am willing to give him till next season. as long as we dont finish 3rd then he'll walk himself.
We just need to accept football is called the 'beautiful game' for a reason, you can never guarantee anything in this game.

I agree with you. I feel more for Rasmussen. Mowbray said he is a box player and he is a player that will get a goal out of nothing - he proved this at the weekend! Yet we are 1-0 down, we play brown at left back, bring on Kamara who hasn't played before (big ask to come on and make an impact on a team that can't score on your debut) and keep fortune on who isn't exactly a fantastic goalscorer and won't grind a result out for you (not a dig at fortune). Rasmussen should have been for the simple reason he can grind out a result which was needed - but mowbray pickd names over tactics.

tony mowbrays thoughts on the game and how it went, taken from bbc sport

    Celtic manager Tony Mowbray:
"It's not the result we wanted. We needed to hit the ground running with the new signings, but it didn't quite happen tonight.
"We didn't put the ball in the net. We had enough of the ball in their final third, but we didn't put the ball way and they defended really well.
"But that's football - we had enough opportunities to win the game, we didn't take them and we lost the game ultimately.
"But you take it on the chin and move on.
"We have a game at the weekend and we keep going.
"We're trying to build a team that can win football matches week in week out and be successful both domestically and in Europe.
"We have enough talent on the pitch to do that."

u think bringing in a new manager now is gona do more gd than bringing 1 in at the end of the season.? i doubt it

If we bring 1 in during the summer , he has a month to get to know the team, friendlies etc, whos not gd enough, what tactics work. Why nottt leave it till then seriously like? give the man a break, rangers could loose their next match and were back in the same position.

Obviously a different game to u, the only player who looked to get on the ball, had a couple of chances and had to create them himself, thought it was a decent display in an otherwise * team.

If you think someone else played better would like to hear who?

I have always been against the appointment of TM, as i am sure you all know (Yet many (no, the majority) of you ridiculed me and some others for daring to suggest he was a loser! who would win nothing, who has never won anything, and who GOT RELEGATED LAST YEAR!

Yet tonight i am sad, and i am not gloating over my prediction, i am sad for TM, he must be really gutted tonight, i know he is loaded, i know he will move on to other appointments, i just wish it would turn round for him, i am sad for the fans and sad at the slagging the fans are due tommorrow, tonight was, i reckon, the most embarressing night for our club in many a year, tonight we are a laughing stock, tonight the huns will be in heaven....................i really hope that a miracle comes about and that this whole sorry mess turns around quick.......i actually felt sick tonight, and i mean physically and mentally sick, perhaps we all invest to much hope into this?....:54:
