A healthy, hungry and on form Moussa transforms this team massively. Theres no doubt about that. It’s a shame how it ended but we need to move on from this. Thanks for the memories but pretty much all of us on here thought he was gone after 2 years.

Griffiths can’t be relied on for the main man, Edouard is good and has great potential but he’s not a very good lone striker at the minute and inexperienced still. What’s the other alternative if there out? Christie? Sinclair? Ffs.

The way the board, Congerton and Rodgers have dealt with this window has been pretty disgraceful to be honest.

He (and Boyata) wanted to go ( probably since end of last season / maybe earlier ) he was smart, worked with his agent and forced our hand.

Getting the best price was our only option. He has doubled his salary and his agent gets a big chop of the fee. Win/win for them

Get this tadger moved into ex-players.

Sad thing is I don't blame him for wanting to move....just the way these snakes go about it.
Must've known it was on the cards. Always linked away and we really should've had a replacement in mind and ready to go for months ago

Cheers to big Dembele on several fronts. He was a young player that was rated as one to watch in European football. From there he gave our club more exposure and helped toward keeping players around him like Armstrong on the bracket of over 5 million. Yes we sold a few big before him but he showed that this club was a good choice for his learning.
He gave us joy when he was on form. A big brute of a bhoy who was hard for defenders to handle and scored a few stunning goals. He is one of the hottest strikers in the French unders. Finally he chose us for a big signing on fee and wage but cost us buttons. He could have chose a team in his native France to go straight to and even to be loaned out. Instead he went with us and done well and will be remembered. He has made us 20 million+ a good bit of business for the club.
Where the money goes * knows. It’s just a pity it ended a bit sour with the feeling that he has been edged out the door. There was no whisper of it and we knew he was collateral for failure to qualify for CL. And that’s how it’s played. Well done son and hope you shine with Lyon as I will be watching his career. No bad feelings for me.

I think christie will act as a third striker until january, it's depressing but it's how i see us fixing this short term.

I thought we were working on the operating a conveyor belt. Some * switched it on one way.
I don’t believe Rodgers is not professional to have at least 6 targets within our reach for vulnerable positions.
For me, I’d be thinking if Boyata isn’t happy, if we sell Moussa, we need centre backs and right cover if Gamboa isn’t going to feature. These are a lot of ifs but it was a possibility we would not qualify for CL.
All bases need covered and Brendan’s man for targeting potentials obviously has a file on his laptop.
So the only thing for me is Lawell has told Brendan there will be money for CL. But to get there we need to invest. And Eddy didn’t cost 9 million. Brendan stated last season that was an inflated fee.

Hope he fails miserably after the huff, if he never stropped then he would have had my full support.

He was a big game player, we’ll miss that but there was plenty shocking performances in there, add in his injuries and attitude I think we got a good deal.

Hope he does well but he just lost all the respect he gained over the last 2 years.

Yes... well it says we accepted the offer, which is vague but I think it's done.

Finally sold ? Brendan said he can't just have 2 strikers he needs 3 and that's exactly what's happened here again no replacement?.
Think Brendan will be offski after this season.

Christie will be our 3rd choice striker by the looks of it.
