Tough game away from home, happy with a 1-0 with from a penalty.

Performance could have been better but 3 points is all we needed.

A scrappy win, we we just couldn't do last season.

A good 3 points,its games like that that win you the league. Not the best football played but it doesnt matter aslong as we got the full points.

I am sick of "fans" wanting to sack our manager after winning 11 games. We have never been a player of beautiful football, we need to scrap some victorys and we have done.

we need to figure out a striking partnership that works. I have always thought sammy and maloney link well but managers like shaun out wide. I am unsure of murphy as a starter, right now you won't convince me he's better than sammy.

its important to put in a comparison to last year to fully appreciate what lenny's done. the last ten minutes of every game where we had a 1 goal lead (* even two goal leads) was a nail biter cause you knew we had a leaky defence with very little confidence and conviction. completely opposite now. say what you want about thursday and the fact that this is only motherwell but these are the teams that would nick a goal at the end of games last year to pick up a point or three

At the end of the day, lenny will be judged on his league record not cup games and so far seems to be doing a pretty decent job dont you think?

mate the very next league game is always more important than any cup game we will play, inc Europa League games,if you don't win the Domestic games, the CL/EU games wont come along.

 

Just going with what we had today..
I'd be surprised if at least one other striker isn't signed by the end of the window..

 

3 points in the bag. 3 games in the league gone, Max points, no goals conceded, top of the league. Couldnt ask for a better start to the league just need to start playing better. Now with the internaional break Lenny has some time with the players that aren't on international duty.
