    the grand budapest hotel tbh, im a big wes anderson fan and moonrised kingdom was twice the film of the former and didnt get nearly the same coverage

    thought moonrise kingdom was overated as well.the critics loved it,it had a great cast.i just didn't get it

    are you kidding, one of the best movies ever made. you need to do a bit of reading with regards to the storyline and the messages within. admittedly it is a film that requires a bit of thought if you want to appreciate the whole story and isn't a stick it on and vegitate type of film. it is a film you will love or hate but it is a cracking story which has a long way to go so i expect the next installment to be out at the tail end of next year.

    Liked and agreed with your post until you slagged prometheus, film is a masterpiece and i struggle to see how someone who names probably the best suspense film ever as thier favourite doesnt like prometheus given the links, the story behind it and the answers it gives.

    I thought Prometheus was brilliant entertainment but come on, the story is nonsense. Most of the decisions the characters made make no sense. I can totally see why people were let down when comparing it to the first two Alien films which are both pretty much perfect. I really enjoyed it as a blockbuster type film but if you hold it up to any sort of scrutiny it falls apart (like most blockbusters tbh).

    thought it was boring, too unrealistic, hard to watch, felt like i was forcing myself to watch it just to get it over with

    mate i personally like Prometheous and all the alien films but your talking out your *, it is rife with plot holes and the casting is * atrocious... it could have been a great film but it just isnt

    I'm afraid I agree with Sonny. Promotheus was a massive disappointment and I say that as a massive and lifelong fan of the Alien canon, and a major fan of Rapace and Fassbender, and someone deeply interested in linguistics.

    It was awful.

    I've seen great shows get worse as they go on but Prison Break took the biscuit. First season was near perfect, but then the third and fourth were amongst the worst I've ever seen. The fourth being the absolute worst. The TV show equivalent of the Star Wars prequels.

    Anything by the Wolfetones
    Guardians Of The Galaxy. Thought it was good and more Flash Gordon-esque compared to other Marvel films but people went completely overboard with the praise of it.
    Best Marvel/comic book film? Yeah, it probably is, but one of the best films ever made? NO CHANCE!!!
