Most likely to become a legend

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Twisty, Dec 20, 2011.

  1. hope there is a few in the current squad but I would say the most obvious for me is Charlie.

  2. Hooper gets the goals, so for that id say him, also seems very happy here.

  3. As soon as you hit the 100 club then you're well on your way to becoming a Celtic legend.

So for that reason it would have to be either Hooper or Stokes.

  4. I went for Big Vic, he has qualities that celtic fans like in a player, never say die attitude and loves a good bone cruncher from time to time. He has also shown glimpses of being more than a defensively minded player.

I think the way wanyama plays could quickly become a legend if he improves like he has done over the past few months.

  5. Mulgrew and Forrest. The rest won't sting around for long enough.

  6. Really depends on who sicks it out. The only players I can see being here in 4 years time are Stokes, Mulgrew, Brown and Forster if we sign him. If any of them do become legends they will be the worst players to do so.

  7. And me.

I think Ledley will be here until the day he retires. If he does so, and stays away from Injuries then he's definitely Captain material and then I believe people could call him a Legend in the years to come. He's one of the tidiest players on the ball and when called upon will play anywhere the Manager asks him.
Time will tell I suppose but I think he could be a Legend

  8. Sammy hopefully :50:

But it will pretty much be who sticks around the longest, Hooper seems up for that, maybe Ledley or Forrest, they seem quite loyal.

  9. Hooper for his goals

  10. I wanted to say hooper but because he doesn't tend to show much emotion towards the club ( he's very " I just wanna score goals " ) I picked Forrest .

I think to become a legend you have to love the club e.g hartson, henrick

  11. Went for Ledley. Think he's the most likely out of our best players to stay here longer & he does show a lot of passion for the club.
Hooper has aspirations of an England call up and I can't see it when he's still in the SPL.

  12. I voted for Hooperman, i am worried he will leave despite him saying he will stay though, I know that's weird :97:

EDIT: How come there is no option for Paddy McCourt?

EDIT AGAIN: Just realised, because he already is a legend.

  13. If we can keep a hold of the boy then I think Wanyama could very well become a Celtic legend. He has the main atribute in that he always gives 100% in a game. He goes about his business confidently and without any fuss, always puts the team first. Great player in my opinion and the potential to be a true Celtic legend.

  14. Hooper seems to kill the Huns! They have NOOOOOOOOOO answer for him(other than kicking his shins and knees out)

  15. I went with Forrest. He's only 20 and he's already one of our best players.

  16. Hooper if he stays he will become a legend just think how young he is 23 most strikers hit there peak when they get near 30 they become smarter for Hoopers age he is incredibly smart and is improving allot on vision and positioning there's allot more to the lads game than goals.

You're guaranteed over 20 goals a season with Hooper and that will only improve if he stays for long he can be up there with Larsson.

But players eventually move on i just hope it's not to some bottom 10 * prem team who's only hope of glory is getting a europa cup place or going to Wembley to get pumped.

And to be honest i don't give a * about him not getting called up for the England squad it's a good thing iv'e seen on here people getting annoyed by it like England are * world champions they're overated * full of ego maniacs Germany showed them up for what they are. They couldn't win a world cup if they were in the final against the 3 blind mice.

Still a pity he couldn't play for Scotland though.

Wanyama as well he's the African Paul McStay to say he plays his heart out is an understatement :50:
