been shoutin about it for weeks keane and ras is the partnership to go for play fortune on the wing thats wer he always ends up anyway !!

 

I would go with that.

Rasmussen get's stuck in and is not afraid to put his body in where it hurts. We need more players like that. And he knows where the goal is.

 

The bhoy reminds me of a more mobile big bad John . He is not scared to get in about and ruffle them up .

 

Yeah i agree , its so refreshing to see in stead of sammy * out of every 50/50 in cases he messes up his hair

 

Rasmussen should be starting every week.

 

i think he should get a run out too! but * for the next game though! as long as he plays against the manks and scores then ill be delighted for him,would be good to see jos get a run out too(if fit?)

 

No qestion for me Rasmussen should be starting up front alongside Keane. The 2 games they did they linked up very well. Without a doubt for me they are our best front pairing as things stand.

MORTEN Rasmussen was delighted to score the winning goal for Celtic last weekend. His late strike was enough to give the Hoops a 3-2 win over Hibernian and a fourth consecutive league victory.

And the Danish striker praised the Celtic support for helping galvanise the team as they went in search of the three points.

Unfortunately for Rasmussen, he will sit out this Sunday’s visit to Tannadice through suspension, but he’s still confident his team-mates can make it five league wins in a row.

“I think the crowd were unbelievable in the last 20 minutes and they really helped us to get a win,” he told the Celtic View.

“Every time we play we have a very good crowd behind us. But when they had the possibility to give us something extra they did, and it helped us very much so that was nice."

And Rasmussen has also been impressed by the short period he has worked with Neil Lennon.

“He’s been great setting the players up for training and matches," he said. “I really like him. I think we as a team, and me personally, can learn a lot from him.

“I also think one of the things that Lenny has tried to create is a good team spirit and attitude, and that’s getting better and better.”

And when Rasmussen scored his first goal at Celtic Park last weekend, there were a couple of delighted fans in the Main Stand, because his girlfriend and her brother were there to cheer him on.

It wasn’t exactly by choice, however, because both of them had been due to fly back to Denmark before the flight restrictions gave them an extended stay in Scotland.

“My family is here visiting me, so they have to stay a little bit longer, but it’s not a big problem,” he said. “My girlfriend and my girlfriend’s brother are here. It was nice they were there, but it’s always nice to score a goal, so it’s not that big a thing because they were there.”

He has always been a "big guy", but for those doubting hes matchfitness - don't! I guess its what makes him able of getting the big defenders working... have he pulled off hes shirt yet - if so, you shouldn't doubt that hes fit!

IMO its a given that he should be a starter - actually should have from day 1.

 

Aye same. Soon as Ras came on the hibs defense didn't know how the * to defend. Menace is the perfect word for the big man.

 

The guy is a poacher a 6-12yard player in the box ,what Celtic have been crying out for all season and yes i would play him from the start for the remaining games.

 

i hope we get a partner for him,that can read his knock downs and link up well get another sutty henrik and bbj on the go

him and keane done it 5times when he came on for 15 mins go on the rassss

 

he needs to play, we are better with him. Shame he's banned for Sunday
