So... all that counts for a striker is the scoring record?

 

Let's be honest, scoring goals is the most important thing in football.

It's why the good ones cost so much.

If he can take the chances we are creating and give us a real chance of winning the league, then I'll be a happy man.

 

So Damian Casalinuovo, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Derek Riordan and Anthony Stokes must all be better players than Fortuné 'cause they have scored more goals than him so far this season?
And Kris Boyd must be one of the best strikers in Britain. Dunno why Manchester United don't buy him. He scores a lot of goals!

 

But you don't have the opportunities to score, if our players don't play football well enough. One the reasons why we're creating chances is because we got strikers who can do more than just stand in the field and wait for the ball to come.

Rasmussen gonna be a good complement to our striking force because he's a different type of player than Sammy and Fortuné. But don't tell me than he's a better player and should starting ahead of him because of his record in Denmark only.

 

IMO Stokes is better than Fortune.

 

I am a big Brøndby and Celtic fan from Denmark and I want to say big congratulations to him. I hope you will like him as much as i do. he is a good player when he is fit but sometimes he have some problems. Recently he have been relly good from us.. if anybody having any questions about him just ask. i know alot of Danish football, Brondby and of course him.

 

suppose you neeed to take gambles never know when wel find a gem, better to find a striker with a good past scoring record than someone like fortune who has never scored that many, just need to be careful you dont buy an awful player though

How is his finishing, his scoring record is good but how many of his chances does he finish, does your team create alot of chances therefore he scores 1 or 2 or does he takes his chances?

Is he really as good in the air as everyone makes out?

And is he fast or quite slow, is he skilful at all or is he just a goalscorer?

I think he is a good finisher and when i heard that he came to Brøndby in 2006 i was glad. Brøndby were usually a team hwo remainted in the top, but they arent any more. it is a very offensive team and they are the team that scores most goal in the danish liga. personally i think he was one of the best headers in Denmark and when there corners and free kicks he is good to be the right place..

Unfortunately i dont think he is a so fast player but but he can run sometimes

I think you just have bought a resonable skillful player and hope you will enjoy him

 

For me it says something that he can both head offensive aswell as defensive.. Thats a big plus in my book, and as written before he haqs been a very important factor in both for Brøndby.
Your getting a solid goal scorer I have no doubt about that. all he needs to find is the pace of the Scottish league compared to the Danish

 

While we have a few Danish lads in this thread, now would be a good time to ask about another player in the Danish league. Peter Utaka from Odense.

What are your thoughts on him? would he work well with Rasmussen? How much would he be likely to cost? Do you think he would come to Celtic?

 

Peter Utaka is the best striker in the league, and a decent footballer.

I just don't see him go the Scotland at the moment. I love Celtic, but is pretty sure that he would look higher than Scotland when he moves on. In this moment I'm sure he enjoy himself and OB (Odense) battling for the championship which would be a big archievement for the club. They would do everything to keep their profiles.

And I'm still think people in here is pretty harsh on Fortuné. I would pick him over Rasmussen and Anthony Stokes. But I don't see us going anywhere with that discussion, so nevermind.

 

Peter Utaka and Rasmussen would be a good strike force!
Sammi and Fortune on the bench with McDonald getting sold would be very good!
