im optimistic about this one. seems to be the right sort of player for our league and his goal record seems to be not too shabby either. he has come from a team who are big in the nation and has a gud goalscoring record when he has playd in the national sides.
I also think we hav a gem in ki.. hopefully they will both turn out to be superb players and spur us on to come back and win the league!

no nonsense defender bought and no nonsense striker (maybe) in too......no nonsense on paper maybe....lets see how they perform. Heard this type of hype before.

Lots of fans on here were wanting Fortune signed up quicker than he was for his ability...and looked how that has turned out so far..

I dont think fortune is a bad player. I just dont think he is our type of striker we need an out and out goalscorer and thats not fortunes game .

My point is fortune is a team player that is why mogga signed him. This guy thats coming in has scored 52 goals in 111 games thats 1 in 2 very good stats i think but thats over 4 years which means he has only scored 13 a season which is not very good.

His national team coach Morten Olsen, reckons it couldn't be the right time to move for him, unless he will be playing week i week out, with the World Cup.

Morton Olsen is an * tho.

I think I have to mention that he back in 2008 received a setence 'cause of swindling with his girlfriends creditcard. At that time he have already admitted he had a gambling problem and have been under treatment for ludomania.

Not asking for anybody to judge him. I just think it worth knowing before he becomes a Celtic-player (I think he will...). It's good to know what the type of person he is, because to have right personality seems to be an important part of the signigns for Mowbray.

    Btw,
We're already joking in Denmark about he must be paying his wages with beers.

Well let's judge the guy by his performances for Celtic, his scoring record is good, he seems to have a reasonably aggressive style, so he certainly ticks a few boxes that neither Fortune or Samaras can match.

I would drop both Samaras and Fortune and play with Mc Ginn and Mc Geady wide on the wings with this guy through the middle.

He have been withdrawn from that squad who play against Thailand within a hour.

Don't know if it means he will be flying to Glasgow soon, or he just don't want to be played in case he should be injuried before the medical test.

Edit: ohh, they have just confirmed that they wouldn't play him because of his medical test.

It suspected that he would withdraw himself, it's common practice in these scenarios.

He'll probably be paraded on Monday at the latest.

Mate, this happened after a very long period of injury, think it was his knee, not uncommon that youngsters at the age of 22 goes a little beserk at such times.. I mean he had recently moved to 1 of the top 3 clubs in DK.. Was getting a pay check like never before, and had absolutely nothing to do with his life at this point.. Other than the boring gym as he sees it.. He is the type of player that wants to play every single time, he wants to lead his team to victory.. Even though he is the one scoring the final goal or not.
And if you had followed him maturing over the past 2 years after that incident you would clearly see that him then, and him now are 2 really different persons.
In Brøndby he has learned what it means to play for a top club, and what kind of pressure that puts on you. His statements to the press, his current physique - just about everything about him now, shows how much he changed his attitude towards things :50:

If he comes, I will judge him on what he does on the park for Celtic.

He may have had problemsm in the past, but thats the past.

Hartson apparently robbed someone according to the poster above, he certainly had gambling problems and liked a drink earlier in his career.

He was a totally professional while he was here, and an excellent footballer for us.

I think Mowbray is just signing crazy characters, we have Hooiveld who will say anything and fight anyone, Rogne who is dating a * star and now Rasmussen who has a gambling problem..keep em coming Mogga :56:
