Over the piece a draw was a fair result, they had chances we had chances. Boor the game I thought I would be behind the couch, but the second half I was at the edge of my seat urging us on. Cracking away performance and on another day we could have sneaked the win.

Yep, it is all great progress. We have come such a long way since last year's Europe league campaign. Great experience for next year. We have a lot to look forward to.

PROUD AS A FUTHERMUCKER OF MY CELTIC TONIGHT. :ynwacelti
Rodgers has been saying since day 1 "We want to progress" and "We want to see the hard training in games" Tonight proves Rodgers is the man. We should have won tonight. Game 4 and 3rd place is still VERY possible..... Delighted. Barca will beat this mob in game 5, we get anything in Manchester, bonus. I think game 6 @ home to Barca could be a VERY special night.

But if I see Callum McGregor in the week, so help me *...:triplomur
    A. Square it to Sinclair for a tap in.
    B. Get the shot on target at least, keeper spills we have 2 players there.

McGregor is not at fault for the 1-1, but tonight I could have teleported to Germany and told Rodgers to keep Rogic on, but not knowing we would play last 15 minuets with extra man is hard to see.
    WHAT WAS MCGREGOR THINKING? :54:

So proud of our progress, Rodgers said 2/3 years we be winning games like tonight.
    Bring it on

    Chins up everyone
    WE..ARE...CELTIC...:shamrock:

Is that the first time we've got a better result away from home than at home against a team in the champions league? .

Can't help but be upset we didn't win though. Need to beat Barca or City to have any chance of third place...

I always have the same thought after a European game like this one tonight . . . . . . I wish we had another two Scott Brown type of players . I was pretty pessimistic going into this fixture , so glad the players proved my misgivings were false . It now looks like our defeat at home could be our undoing . Here's hoping we can still qualify in 3rd spot .

That was a really good performance tonight with an under strength team
against a top class German outfit at home.We now still have a chance of European football after Christmas and that should be our motivation and goal now.

Lesson learned. Armstrong continues to improve in midfield, showing willingness, zest and energy and deserves to keep his place beside a rejuvenated Broony.

Forrest's form has dipped and Roberts deserves to come back in again.
Gamboa is not up to the mark at right back, and we may have to go back in the transfer market in January for a better quality right back.
Rogic for all his worth and great shows in the SPL, sadly looks to be too slow for this level of football.
Gordon is our No.1 goalkeeper. His reflex saves kept us in the game tonight.

Final analysis. We need to buy a really good experienced defensive midfielder in January.

Great result, but McGregor keystone cops moment and the fkn around in the last minutes * me off.

A win, and for me we were in Europa League.

For me, both us and BMG won't pick up another point.

The BBC reporting on the game tonight has been shocking, mentioning Gladbach dominating at every opportunity. You'd think we clung on for a draw by our fingernails.

Exactly. Gladbach parked the bus and were clearly * it towards the end.

2004/05, lost 3-1 at home to Barca (Henrik...:55:) and drew 1-1 at the Nou Camp.

I don't think we'll get another point tbh, such a pity we never turned up against BMG at CP.
