Watched an interview there with McGregor and he's already talking about Khabib. Styles make fights as the saying goes and Khabib beats McGregor every time sadly. McGregor needs to jump to a different division or just sack it altogether.

Canny remember being less excited for a Conor or a Cowboy fight.

Just watched the Cowboy interview with ESPN, the 2 Embedded’s and the Helwani interviews with McGregor, Roddy and Kavanagh.

Conor seems relaxed, ready and focused and Cowboy looks banged up and forgetful. I hope it’s a ploy from Cowboy tbh but he limped right through his walk up Fremont Street and he couldn’t even remember Eddie Alvarez’ name.

Seen that too, definitely looked like was limping. After watching all the promotion for the fight and Conors interviews etc I'm way more amped for this fight now than I thought I would be, hes training differently too so I'm interested to see how he fights on Saturday now that hes seemingly not fight fighting in his usual karate stance and is now more compact which is a good idea against cowboy.

Haven’t really gotten into this event at all, and overall it feels much more low key than any McGregor fight in recent years.

I’m expecting an early stoppage win for McGregor, probably catching Cowboy with the left and then overwhelming him as he back-pedals.

I think the term ‘boxer’ is being thrown around far too liberally in this case :giggle1:

Lewis went too far imo. No need to wreck the guy for a bit of smack talk. He was out and still being hit.

Can't see anything past McGregor knocking Cowboy out inside 2 rounds.

Conor said in an interview yesterday or the day before that he wants to "get a few rounds under my (his) belt" and that he will "be in no hurry"

Otherwise yeah I would agree he would get it done early. I reckon Round 2.

His power doesn’t translate as well to 170 as it does to 155, naturally. For that reason I think he will finish Cowboy but it won’t be done in minutes of the 1st. I think folk are making too little of the fact it’s at 170, Conor clearly shouldn’t be in that weight class per se - he’s a 155er if he walks about at around 160.

That being said, this is the same guy that sparked out Aldo when Aldo was in the GOAT debate and was king of the 145ers, so....

I hope there’s fireworks, would be good to see them both stand and trade and I think that may be exactly what happens.

Yeah agreed but I don't see much back and forth going on. Cerrone will glance Conor with a few kicks more than likely and that is probably the extent of the damage he will put on him. I can't see Donald absorbing even 30% of the damage Nate absorbed the second time around.

I haven’t seen any suggestions what he walks around at 160lb. I would be surprised if it was less than 170lb.

I can see him hurting Cerrone badly each time he lands tbh. He’s so static that Conor will be able to load up on the left.
