    It was a clear blueprint to beat Askren, spotted and practiced and carried out to perfection.

    Khabib isn’t unbeatable, has now proved he doesn’t like being hit in the face against Iaquinta and Poirier and there should be fighters out there plotting his downfall. Same way there were fighters plotting GSP and Silva’s downfall, far superior mixed martial artists.

    He’s the ultimate elite smotherer, no doubt about it. The greatest of that type there’s ever been but there’s clear gaps in his defence that have yet to be tested.

    If and when tony and khabib do fight I'd love to see tony just ankle pick khabib instantly right out of the gate, other than that maybe catch him in a scramble with a sub.

    Mate you can’t just say people have discovered that Khabib doesn’t like getting punched in the face...

    If it was a clear blueprint it would have been done years ago.

    Masvidal is a fighter bold enough to try it, done it, it worked.

    I think Khabib will fight Ferguson and then retire. As good as Khabib is he's not the GOAT until he fights at a higher weight class and has success, which I think it looks like he will never do. I'd love to see Covington v Khabib or Askren or Usman fight Khabib.

    * love watching Khabib man, Poirier looked shocked at times as if he underestimated just how strong Khabib is. Pure domination.

    Some strength to get out of a hairy position as well, looked to be in fairly tight. Think Khabib's neck is there to be got the way he buries it into the chest, Poirier had a couple of opportunities to get in there.

    If he beats Ferguson he’ll step up a weight class unless his body is done. He’s an absolute animal and just sticks to people but the wear and tear on his neck, shoulders and knees must be crazy.

    Like someone said before there’s a lot more world class wrestlers in welterweight division that I’d love to see Khabib fight. Usman will beat Covington no doubt.
