Disappointed, but i cant really argue. I thot Diaz won 3 and 5, and lost 1 and 4.....and it was 2 that was up for grabs. That said, i thot CM won most of 2 before Diaz finished it well.

Correct result, brilliant from Conor showed he had defence and good chin and could also be mature and patient to pick off his shots. I wonder if we will see a 3rd fight now.

Fair play to both men, what a fight. Delighted for Conor, just edged it for me.

    What a fight!

Could of went either way, both could of been finished off at certain points. Great resilience from both men.

Connor gassed mid fight and was lucky not to get finished imo.

Judges got the score right, agree with Rogan, if they do a third fight, drop the belt.

Close fight they should definitely go again.

McGregor looked sensational the first 1.5 rounds, outclassed him with ease and really looked like he could have finished him if he wanted to. Then he looked like a zombie for about 2 rounds, then came back into it again.

Round 1 McGregor by a mile
Round 2 McGregor for me again(think he knocked him down twice? although was goosed himself half the round.
Round 3 Diaz, McGregor was done in
Round 4 quite even from memory, Diaz at the beginning, McGregor came back in the end
Round 5 quite even again, Diaz got a takedown though although there was nothing in it really

Overall its probably fair McGregor won considering the damage he done too on top of the 4? knock downs. Diaz coupon and legs were battered and McGregor looked fresh(ish).

Said he didn't have a great camp and that he had an injury but didn't want to make excuses. Wants to fight McGregor again aswell.

Agree with what you said but I think it was 2 knock downs in the first and 3 in total.

EDIT: actually I think it was 2 in the second.

Some rumours that McGregor may have broken his foot during the fight

Brilliant fight. Thankfully it was worth staying up for this time. Looks like CM has broke his foot. No surprised after the battering he gave Diaz's leg.

I really want to see Aldo vs McGregor again more than another Diaz fight but probably have to wait for that.

I think normally McGregor would have ended the fight early by pouncing on those knockdowns, but he tried to "Mayweather" this fight and make sure he didn't get beat and so reacted calmly and made sure he never got caught himself because how big a fight it was for him. Was trying to cruise through not letting himself get hit and just picking him off when he could.

But it didnt work out too well as he looked like he ran out of steam in the 2nd half of the 2nd round and looked * for the next 10 minutes.

Aye I don't blame him for not trying to finish it, Diaz easily could have tied him up on the ground and I think he was aware of that. Much smarter fighting from McGregor compared to last, no idea who will win the next.
