That he was ready to step in and fight? Of course he did, he knew the kind of dough he'd be onto if he managed to get that fight.

Put it this way, he made $500,000 for fighting McGregor, which is more than he made for almost his entire UFC and WEC career combined, which spans five years and 14 fights, including two fights with Aldo.

He could have been sitting at home in a full-body cast when he got the call from Dana and he'd still have wanted that fight.

I'd have stepped in and taken the fight for that money , don't know if I'd have lived to spend it though :icon_mrgreen:

Are there any build up or behind the scenes programmes available for the mcgregor vs aldo fight?

Something similar to the 24/7 programme produced by hbo for boxing.

Looking back at the Mendes/McGregor fight...I don't think McGregor's kicks or a two week camp gassed him out. I think he basically fought a war of attrition by wrestling at far too much of an intense pace. May sound silly but wrestling is tiring as *. Especially if you are putting all your power into it and against a strong opponent. He was blowing out his * when he came out for the 2nd round. Still, if Conor catches you with a clean shot its probably goodnight.

Looking forward to Mendes vs Edgar! :)

There's a full hour embedded then 5 or 6 minute embeddeds being put up daily which are similar to 24/7. Episode 4 went up today.

Massive respect to Aldo, more than cabable of winning the fight. I think it will be the biggest challenge for both Aldo and McGregor in their career so far. Should be a great fight , can't wait :icon_mrgreen:

    Cheers :50:

This should be a cracking fight if it lives up to the hype. First UFC event I'll watch live too.

Hopefully Conor does the business on Saturday, I reckon there will be a rematch regardless though. Dana see's the dollar signs with a potential rematch
