    A 6ft 4 left back just worries me, can't help it. I'd be surprised if he was fast and good on the ball like yer man Van Dijk but here is hoping if he signs.

    Aye I seen that quote earlier, I'll reserve judgement the now. I'd like to know why Ajax let him go, not as if they are flush with LB's. Interesting that they think he is good enough now.

    Find it hard to believe PL is on holiday at the most crucial time of the year for him and us surely he could * off for a break at some point during the season, when our transfer buisness is done.

    Everyone is allowed a summer holiday I am sure when he was at yorkhill about a week 10 days ago he gave an interview and said he was now off on holiday before the players get back plus the transfer window isn't officially open until 1st July

    I don't begrudge him a holiday but a lot of buisness can be done before the window officially opens, on the continent it opens early in June so deals can be done.

    It's not as if he is financially restricted in finding sun any time of the year.:smiley-laughing002:
