Not that I'm aware of. Besides, most terrorist groups usually claim to success they may have had.

This one just has no feasible explanation as yet.

The Chinese have found what looks to be debris in the original search area and a worker on a rig saw a stationary fire on the sea. What were the military tracking then? Sounds like the search has been a *.

The Chinese are merely 'wing'ing this search operation :52:

Hope it's found for the sake of the families who are desperate to find out what happened. Dunno if it is such a big deal for them because, without sounding blunt, they're still dead unfortunately.

    Strange story all the same.

I actually had a mate try and argue the point that i couldnt technically dismiss that it has been abducted by aliens tonight!!!!!
    Seriously!
He admitted it was a long shot though, but i think this was to prevent me killing him!!!:smiley-laughing002:

It's natural to blame pilot error because the chances of something going wrong on a plane are a long shot to say the least.

The chances of it suddenly falling out the sky due to pilot error at 35,000ft are pretty slim too.

No wreckage from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane has been found after a search of a possible debris site off the coast of Vietnam.

    Mystery continues....:97:

More chance of that than a fault with the plane, also I never used the term pilot error at the start, I'd suggested one of the pilots deliberately crashed the plane.

I saw the pictures of 'floating debris' last night on the BBC,thought they'd found it or at least part of it as well.

They couldnt find any debris. They are now suggesting that the plane flew for another 4 hours.

So either, decomprassion happened, everyone passed out and the autopilot kicked in. Eventually it would run out of fuel and ditch - 2200 miles away. Or it's been hijacked and flown somewhere else.

Edit: the Malaysian authorities have dismissed the claims. * help the poor families. They need closure. All this false info being flung about must be devastating for them.

    Oh,I see.

Hopefully the latter, bit less likely but if that's the case at least they'd be alive.

    Agreed man,it's horrendous.

It's actually been suggested now that the plane was stolen.
