    Family member claims receiving text message missing plane safe, says report

    It reported from Surabaya that a family of a missing passenger received a glimmer of hope via a Blackberry Messenger (BBM) text.

    The portal quoted Intan, the sister of passenger Martinus Djomy as saying: "Kabarnya mendarat darurat di Belitung Timur, semua selamat. Tapi kita tetap butuh kepastian."

    (We got word that that the plane made an emergency landing in Belitung Timur, everyone is safe. But we still need to be sure.)

    thats bullshit.....if that happened then why didnt the rest of the passengers send texts/phone calls etc...after all the just had an emergency landing in anotehr country


    This year alone has been terrible for airrline crashes/missing/shot down scenarios...getting beyond a joke now.....

    There was no indication of problems,they asked to go above a storm...so no communication stoppage....it happened suddenly.

    Its very unusual for a total air implosion....

    And we did hear a few weeks ago of many threats over the Xmas period

    Really surely not.
    When I heard about this latest missing plane ,my thoughts went out to those affected. I also knew that the internet would be awash with "Intel" from the usual sources sadly. :54:
