Maybe an attempted terrorist attack, they shut off the transponder ect. so the pilot flies into the middle of the ocean trying to buy himself time or so they can't crash the plane into a building and runs out of fuel

Doesn't add up. The plane flew south for 7 hours....could have easily of landed the plane within that time.

Not in the middle of the Indian ocean, and landing at an airport puts more lives in danger. While I doubt that happened its a possibility, I doubt we'll ever know what happened

While it is a possibility (like many other theories) I can't see why a pilot would fly that long without contacting HQ or attempting the land the plane safely. As you said, it is a possibility and we'll possibly never know the truth.

That aside, what the * is with all the sarcastic/snidy comments?

Obviously someone wants the battery to discharge and put an end to the search. Why would they try to find the box after 25 days if it is known that the battery lasts for 30 days. Everything makes more sense to the story that the plane landed on the island in the Maldives, think about it, there is no trace of wreckage or evidence that it fell, the people of the Maldives saw a huge plane flying over the water that night, and in the plane there were four owners of a patent for the chip to be used for military purposes, which is worth millions.
    Conspiracy theory, you'll say...:86:

I'm slowly swaying to the theory that the plane was either landed or shot down.

Said this way back at the start of the thread and I'm actually starting to come round to the idea that it may well have happened :smiley-laughing002:
