He couldn't force himself into the starting team for Sparta Prague and didn't score 1 goal in 15 apps. That alone should deter us from signing him.

he was *, * only knows why he went up to take that corner and kick it out for a throw on the other side of the pitch.

When he did play for Sparta they played him on the wing so the fact he hasn't scored for them isn't a big deal, having seen his pace last night you can see why he has been put there as he is fast as * but yeah it is a worry that at 23 he only has 15 first team games under his belt.

He might be good with some training but I would be very disappointed if he was our main strikers signing as Mphela looked a better option to me.

Yes let's judge the guy on 45 mins:rolleyes:. That's like watching Samaras at Ibrox at new year and watching Izaguirre at ICT and deciding Samaras is brilliant and Izzy is pish based on 1 game. Give the guy a chance.

It is a trial for a reason, like it or not this and in training is what judgement is based on. We can't afford to give them time, this is there chance.

Yes but what I mean is he should get to play in the Dublin cup aswell. Guaranteed if he scored a screamer against Inter, all the people saying "no thanks" ect would be saying sign him up. Give the trialist the Dublin cup then decide.

he must have made some impression the 1st time he was here on trial as we tried to sign him then , before he went to Sparta Prague.if he was that bad then surely we would not have let him back for a 2nd time?
give him another game in Dublin and see what he can do with the 1st team squad.

Didn't see anything last night that would encourage us to sign him. Looked pretty poor-average.

    Sorry to bump this

Slovakian striker Milos Lacny has signed a 12-month loan deal at Dundee United from Czech Liga leaders Sparta Prague, subject to international clearance.
The Terrors, who have first option to buy the player within the timescale, confirmed the news on their official website on Monday.
Manager Peter Houston[IMG] said: "Milos is a quality young player.
"His style is different to the strikers we already have at the club and I think he will quickly become a favourite with our fans.
"He showed a desire to come over here on trial and what I witnessed convinced me that he can play a big part in our squad and gives us greater attacking options.
"He will bring pace to our forward line and increases our goal threat.
"I am absolutely delighted to have secured his services for the next 12 months."
