Lassad is what Miku should have been.

He's scored goals and shown some skill. I admit he's hardly been the next big thing and wouldn't be in my starting XI with a full squad, but he's shown a lot more than Miku.

I agree but his comment about Miku was meant be what Lassad is.. if that's how good Miku was meant to be as Lassad is now, then I'm wandering what all the fuss was about when Miku signed.

He actually thinks Lassad has been superb.

Think we should cut our losses with Miku and send him back. His departure won't weaken us in any way.

Even if Hooper does leave we will still have Stokes, Lassad, Samaras, Watt and even Bangura.

Easily done:50: Wee don't need him though so a would just get rid. Unless we are going buy him.

A was just as excited to see Lassad as a was Miku. He was great in the Spanish B last season, and his YouTube video's looked excellent. I know its just YouTube but I couldn't help getyong excited by them. That goal last night will do Lassad massive confidence so hopefully he can push on aswell as Bangura.

He was brilliant vs Barca, which is far more important to me than Hearts or Killie or some * like that. I think Lenny will keep him just for Europe because we need people with technical ability, who can pass, hold the ball up and win free kicks up the park. Aka we need diving cheating * to emulate the foreign * and do them at their own game, cos Juve will be hitting the deck as quick as they * can make no mistake about that.

People like Miku and Sammy are perfect for us so I think we'll keep the Venezuelan just for that but tbh I wouldn't be sad if we cancelled his loan.

Yeah I think miku's best game for us was v barca, held the ball up and won us a few free kicks when under the cosh but lassad showed up well v Sparta in final CL game when he came on as sub.

I'm honestly suprised that we haven't sent him back yet. The fact that he didin't even get to play in that friendly says a lot in my opinion (unless he was injured).

I thought that after scoring that goal he would at the very least be appearing every other game as a sub. But Lennon and the rest must not see anything impressive in training, especially when he's not even getting on the bench most of the time. The fact that the manager came out and gave him a vote of confidence, you would think he would be trying his best to show he was worthy of it.

From what I've seen of his stuff at Getafe he seems like a decent player, not the £5-8 million that was suggested when we signed him. In all honesty I would rather we sent him back and instead focused on Bangura who we actually own.

It's of no benefit to either the club or Miku if he stays here until the summer if things are going to stay the same.

Feel sorry for the boy, would have needed time to settle, did well against barca and his goal against dundee united proves he has good ability. Not really had a chance but probably wont get one now, now that stokes is back. Hooper,Samaras,Stokes,Watt,Lassad will all be ahead of him. Didn't even come on against Steau Bucharest which IMO tells us he'll be punted back. All the best to him , if we had given him time a still think he would have been a crackin player.

Hooper and Samaras are on great form.

Lassad doesn't mess about in front of goal and puts in a shift for the team.
We've got guys doing the business, so he needs to just keep working hard in training.

He's just cover in case someone gets injured.

Nah, got to disagree. 2 or 3 games then dropped? They haven't even been 2 or 3 terrible performances, he just hasn't scored or done anything spectacular. Once again I'll agree a few performances were woeful, but nothing to completely banish him from the team. If players were dropped after 2 or 3 bad games, Sammy would have been sold years ago, Commons wouldn't get a look in, even Hooper has a a horrible run before. Big Kelvin was given time, look at him now. Why should it be different with a Striker?

I agree, he hasn't gotten much of a chance and he hasn't been bad when he played, was magnificent against Barca.

Hooper and Stokes for how long more is the question though...Plus Samaras I would not count as a straight forward striker anymore in NL books.
