    I would like us to sign this guy as it seems like a great deal, similar to the Lustig situation. However I'm not sure where we would fit him.

    Think it would definitely mean the end for Commons and we would perhaps have to move Johansen back in next to Brown. I'm not particularly against as the last time it was attempted the whole team was playing poorly and it made Johansen look even worse. Suppose it's good to have selection headaches though.

    I don't think he is good enough for Celtic. Far from it. He has been totally unremarkable the last 2 seasons at Rosenborg. It should be easy to make a good impression playing for a relatively good team in a rotten league, but he has not.

    Norways biggest newspaper rated him as the 63rd best player of the norwegian league this season! (15 year old Odegaard was number 2) And the norwegian league is horrible these days. Diskerud played 22 games this season and made 3 assists! How is that for a "creative" central midfielder?

    Last season he was number 36 on the same list while our old friend Jo Inge berget was number 13.

    He is also known to be slow, weak and a bit of a diva to boot.

    So not good enough for Celtic by far.

    I have no idea why he is even being discussed.

    I hear #NYCFC has signed Mix Diskerud. He's in New York and it could be announced tomorrow. It's a pretty solid signing.
