Inevitably he played with a lack of self belief plus lightweights which doesn't effect him when he's buzzing with confidence, he's just back ffs
If he's not going to be a first pick do a Calmac with him to the championship, but get him on a massive release clause him as he's going to be class, maybe even a #7.

Got great feet and trickery. However, his final ball is absolutely bogging and he seems to struggle to pass simple balls at times. He’s also far too greedy and needs to learn to release the ball earlier. I think he could be a very good winger, potentially, but he’s got a long way to go. Don’t see the absolute hype with him if I’m totally honest.

He's scored 6 and assisted 3 (one against the huns) I've not worked it out but I think that's pretty good for the minutes he's played. Goes past guys like they're not there and our only player who can beat 2-3 players at a time - a rare talent. He is the most exciting player to come out of our youth team for years and I'd always have him in the team - he gives us something no other player does and he can only improve the more he plays.

    Mj has no end product?
Are you meaning just in this one off game or overall? Because it's been pretty obvious what he can offer since he has broken on to the scene

Great dribbler but needs to work on passing the ball. Not even that his final ball is particularly poor just that he gives the ball away making simple passes

Like at all? Again I'm genuinely curious why, I'm buzzing about him.

Don't understand this. Yesterday he linked up with Eddy at the edge of the box and was in on goal. Arguably easier to score but he tried to square it to Jamesie. He also put one on a plate for Jamesie in the first half. He is a young boy with much to learn, no doubt about it, but he has massive potential. If the boy was French * would be jizzin in their drawers. His pass at Ibrox to put Eddy in was perfectly weighted and timed. I don't agree with your overall assessment of him but there you go.

I just don’t think physically he is ready for the first team and his final ball at times is honking

He’s our most exciting academy graduate in years..

It will take him a good few seasons before he’s ready to play consistently, but you can tell he’s going to be class.

As Dev says it’s a bit weird..

However, Celtic fans have always been harshest towards our homegrown players and that’s something I’ve never understood.
