Feel quite sad reading that. Really believed when he was younger he was going to be the next in line of great wingers I’ve watched come through the youth system. Maloney, McGeady, Forrest .

    All the best Mikey

Jealous and sad for him at the same time. Got to play for our team and one of our own.

Think he'll do well out of the move. Boy does have talent, just couldn't quite show enough of it here.

    Best of luck.

    Good luck to him.

When he broke through I had really high hopes. Unfortunately injuries and some suspect performances in particularly ended his career here before it could really begin.

I will always find the abuse and hatred towards him from some fans utterly bizarre though. Not the worst to break through our academy by any means.

At times it just seemed like fans were giving him abuse for the sake of it.

Without his injuries, he's still be starting for us and I honestly think he goes on to have a similar career to Forrest.

Looked * hot when he was 19/20, but the injuries continually piled up.

He does seem past them now, and he could far worse than a move to a West Brom side who'll be up there fighting for promotion, good luck to the lad.

    Best of luck to him.

Infuriatingy player, at times you thought we had something special, but foe the most part you kinda knew how it was going for him.

    Good business by us though.

Just never quite happened. There were some games he came on and you'd think this is it, he's turned the corner, but then the next game he'd be anonymous. You could say that about a lot of players I suppose but it was really noticeable with Mikey. I still think he can be a really good player for someone. Said before there are players who'll move on from us and I won't know where they've gone/won't really be interested but I'll keep an eye out for West Brom's games to see how he gets on. Certainly can't complain about his effort.

Playing his football next season with Danilo Alex Sandro and Jorginho

Also got the same agency as the likes of Valverde and other high profile names

Must be the first Scottish player to play in Brazil this century, possibly for a century.

    Amazing move for him.
