    Young boy who looked like he was gonna do the business and then gad bad injury after bad injury which clearly rattled all the confidence out of him whenever he came back..

    I've said from day dot that McCarthy was right to sit tight. No his fault whatsoever that he was offered probably his last contract to sign for his boyhood club when clearly he was finished..

    The level of dislike people have for him is bizarre. Feel like he gets heat because of our failure to spend money to fill his position properly. He's one of our most successful youth graduates in recent years, gave his all, and just struggled to give a level of consistency needed to player week in week out for celtic. Good luck to him.
