  1. If we get hit with injuries I guess I'd rather MJ coming on over a done Forrest, but that's about it, really can't see a future for him here.

  2. Thought I seen somewhere that it was the summer of 2025 his deal ran out. Can't be 100% sure though.

  3. Summer 2026

  4. How the actual * has he got a contract that length

  5. Club probably saw it as a cheap gamble when they gave him a 2 year extension last summer, especially as he fits the club grown quota. So there is some sensible reasoning behind it. It probably should have been until 25 with an option of an extra year from us.

  6. Shut up Peter.

  8. Think he’s destined to be a guy who gets a chance ‘because I’ll get the best out his talent’ by managers. Until he’s 30 odd.

I know a lot of fans pretend he has zero talent regardless, that’s not true, but he’s missed too much development through injuries and now he’s 24, nearly 25, still like a young inexperienced player and hasn’t got the tools equipped to deal with any slight dips of confidence.

Because he is the most confidence player I’ve ever witnessed. Not even game by game, minute by minute it swings * wildly.

  9. Would be a great move for everyone bar Norwich.

    Yes, please.

  10. Honestly think there’s teams and leagues he can go have a successful career in - Championship in England is one of the last I’d pick as one though. Physical hustle bustle with a * heavy schedule of games. For end of the season on loan it might work for him, but if I was his agent it’d be the last place I’d look for him.

He done ok in Portugal and might get something there, which makes me wonder if we’re the ones pushing for this style of move. Either thinking it’ll improve him for us, or could improve his transfer fee. I hope the latter

  11. I tried a wee search of when it’s out and got 25 or 26 in equal amounts so * knows what it is if someone can help me out with it who knows more.

But if its summer 26, he will be 27 years old when his contract runs out. How the *

  12. West Bromwich Albion are set to bolster their attack with the signing of Mikey Johnston on a loan from the Scottish Premiership.

The 24-year-old has struggled for minutes at Celtic this season and former Leicester City boss Brendan Rogers is keen to see the winger get more game time under his belt. Racking up a total of 12 appearances this season, Johnston has scored twice for his boyhood club with both coming in a Boxing Day win over Dundee FC.

Albion are in search of more cover in their wide areas and Carlos Corberan’s side have already bolstered their depth this window after signing Andreas Weimann from Bristol City and Callum Marshall on loan.

The Irish international can play on both wings but mainly operates on the left-hand side for The Bhoys. Johnston spent last season abroad, featuring 31 times for Portuguese Primeira Liga side Vitoria de Guimaraes, scoring three times.

Lewis * of The Express and Star reported last week that The Baggies were interested in the winger’s services last week, and has since added that the 24-year-old has already completed his medical this morning.

Squad depth has become an issue in recent weeks for The Hawthorns club after losing Jeremy Sarmiento to a recall by parent club Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as Grady Diangana’s absence due to the African Cup of Nations.

West Brom are still seeking further deals ahead of the 11pm deadline tonight due to the injury to Johnston’s compatriot Jayson Molumby, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after surgery. The Baggies are currently in the middle of the Championship play-off battle and are in fifth place ahead of a Midlands derby against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.

  13. Good luck to him but I hope he never plays for us again. No more chances. He's had far more than he deserves.

  14. Nothing against the lad just not good enough. You just know though he’ll appear back in squads at the start of next season.

  15. Makes it even more baffling he got game time ahead of others, hopefully that’s the end of him at Celtic.

Only a loan which means he'll get another 50 last chances with us again next season

  16. Hope the lad never looks at Twitter. I get that he's a frustrating player to watch but he's been at the club since he was like 9 or something. Could at least wish him well on a loan rather than still hurling abuse at him when he's not even here anymore. Honestly hate our "fans" at times.

  17. Good luck to the guy.

He wasn't up to the level that I would want from a starter at Celtic but it was hardly his fault. Feels like him, Forest and Turnbull get a lot of heat simply because the signings we've made are so poor we are reliant of these guys to start games. Hope they all do well wherever they end up.

Meanwhile, it feels like our bench is being decimated. All good and well saying these guys aren't good enough but we aren't replacing them.
