Interesting tweet. Essentially - he flatters to deceive.

  2. Boy doesn't even win fouls, such a frustrating statistic. These stats confirm that he is a fantastic dribbler but has absolutely no end product. He desperately needs a goal in his next couple of games otherwise he's finished.

  3. One on Sunday would be huge!

  4. Just got a message he's going to Dundee utd on loan till the end of the season...

Apparently doing the rounds in twitter

  5. Would only make sense if we already have someone coming in to play on the left once the window opens. Without that there is no way that is happening.

  6. Makes no sense with Jota yet to return surely?

Well jota should be back, jamesy too, the big Greek which allows kyogi to move out left and the other Japanese bhoys?

  7. Well Jota is obviously the number 1 out on the left but we need depth so unless there is a replacement already lined up that plays on the left I do not see it happening. Now don't get me wrong if replacements are lined up then this makes sense as Johnston needs to play to have any chance at getting back to his best and having a long term future at Celtic. So I am not saying this should not happen I am just saying I do not see it unless a replacement is already lined up.

  8. Yes hopefully Jota is back we have missed him massively. Kyogo can play out there as well. Again I am not against this move. I think it makes sense as Johnston really needs to play right now not sit on the bench behind Jota. But I only see it happening if the appropriate replacements are already on the way.

  9. I was agreeing with you, can't see Johnston going.

  10. Haha the question mark confused me or maybe it was the amount of Coole Swan Irish cream I have had so far today. :60:

Makes no sense given the lack of squad depth.

  12. Was hungry and played well in his cameo..

  13. Thought he had more impact than Forrest. Good signs.

Actually made some good passes i never expected from him. The breaks done him good.

  15. I still feel if he could bang in a few goals his confidence might improve, and he could turn a corner, but he's taking his time with that. He came on late in a game before the break, was excellent for the 10 mins he was on, then when he started the next game he was awful. Very frustrating. Thought he did well last night in the short time he had.

  16. Aberdeen are considering a loan move for Celtic star Mikey Johnston.

Stephen Glass wants to expand his attacking options and the 22-year-old winger is among a number of options on a January shortlist.

Dons captain Scott Brown is a huge admirer of the Parkhead academy graduate and has offered up a glowing reference.

Aberdeen want to bring more pace into the final third and Johnston is viewed as a potential solution,

However, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou may be reluctant to sanction a departure as he contends with a number of injuries and absentees.

  17. If we had everyone fully fit then I would definitely think about it, but as things stand one more injury and we might need him to start.

  18. Yep, can't really afford to let him go just now..

Unless we bring in another winger..

Would be a great move for him as well. I noticed how much they lacked pace and width the other night and with Broony being up there and captain, he'd be looked after and played quite a lot for a team up the top half of our league..

The kinda move that could make him and toughen him up....bit less pressure..

If we get someone of quality in then I think I'd let him go..

  19. Yes unfortunately while a loan to Aberdeen would be great for him right now I just don't see how we can do that given how many we have out injured or away on international duty. It would be a big gamble.
