    Looks determined and strong..

Would be tempted to start him on the left and Jota on the right at the weekend..

Abada could do with being dropped, physiologically as well as physically.. He's been asked to play too much for a now 20yr old..

Please stay fit Mikey.. What an asset that could be.

Dont think he will start, ease him back into it.
What a sublime ball to Jota, just the right weight on it.

Always been a huge fan of Mikey ever since his debut. Really hope he can stay fit. The boy’s got class.

If stays injury free he could be a huge star for us.

Hungry, always wants the ball and his game is developing more maturity with killer passes (e.g the ball to Jota last night) and good movement/positioning.

He's a smashing player. Keep him fit and healthy he'd be in my team before abada every day of the week.

Some days of the week. Rotation should be about this, so nobody gets worn down, and avoids injuries that stem from chronic muscle fatigue.

No way would I even contemplate starting him, not at LEAST until after January.

He needs time to condition is body.

Wrap the wee * in cotton wool on the training pitches, use him a sub, (sporadically, rotate his subs with either Forrest or Liel) and we'll see where he at physically after Xmas.

The last thing we need is another Brendan Rodgers whipping KT to death by running him into the ground when he wasn't fit for it.

He could, COULD, be a massive asset for us.

    He needs time though.

I can see where your coming from with Saturday in mind. Personally I would be a bit nervous given his injury record to start him after just 2 short sub appearances. But either way the sooner we can get Johnston fully up to match fitness and sharpness the better as even in that little cameo yesterday he showed what a massive attacking player he can be for us.

Starting him one game per week would be fine, but I do agree that his body can't take sustained first XI appearances. Tierney was run down because we had no rotation option. Johnston could fill in for Jota once per week, in theory. Should we do it now? Not sure. Maybe wait until November?

Would start him on Saturday even if it was just for an hour but play him left,
Jota right and Kyogo down the middle. Get big Giakoumakis on for at least half an hour if not the second half.

I would rest Rogic for this one as he looked to be struggling physically on Tuesday although slightly conflicted as he has a decent record of making an impact against St Johnstone.

Boli will likely play left back but I would like to see what Scales can offer.

Looked sharp when he came on, but gee he’s noticeably slighter than all the other players. No wonder he’s injured all the time, get him in the gym.

I remember him playing great in the 8th or 9th victory season, and then injuries screwed him. There was a reason why I loved him. He is absolutely fearless on the ball. The lad that only knows one way: forward! His bravery really stood out today, next to a zillion backpasses by certain others.
